seen them last week in Manchester, they were shit hot. Anybody who likes the Fat White Family but fancies something that isn't pitch black in it's musical content will love them.

I lurk here every year and this has been the biggest rollercoaster of the last 3. Have a good one everybody.

2014 was slippery a fu*k tho. Getting across pyramid after Jack White was ridiculous.
I always forget about the rain during Robert Plant/Jack White, mostly because I was being bathed in the sounds of Robert Plant I suspect

I didnt sleep a wink on the Sunday night and had to get the 8am coach back. Taking a quilt this time
Yep, coach back to Liverpool at 8am, worse morning of my entire life. Taking a pillow last year was the best idea I ever had

2014 was also a misty rainy mess for all of Thursday. Freezing too.
Not as bad as this year is going to be mind you.
Yeah to be fair it was freezing - especially on the Sunday night

I agree, 2014 was not bad at all.
I ventured out from my shelter after the first pour down only to get caught in the 2nd, didn't dry for the rest of the weekend, but APART from that.

Try telling that to those who went to 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2014 - all of which saw quite extreme conditions!
I went 2014 - it wasn't *that* bad

End of Friday update:
BBC/Met Office - Dry and cloudy/sunny, except light rain on Thursday.
Netweather - Generally very dry, possible risk of bit of rain Friday (it'll be around 0.5mm at most)
Worldweather online - Same as Netweather
Metcheck - completely dry, sunny and cloudy all weekend.
Accuweather - Weds and Thurs looking risky with isolated showers, but then dry and sunny for rest of weekend.
GFS charts currently updating - but last completely dry and no sign of rain (maybe a little on Thurs but that's negiligable) across whole weekend.
I would say that's a win for the day considering what we started with this morning.
so basically: a bit of rain and sunshine - like every other year?

Done, good luck!

In West Holts by the brothers tent and it looked pretty horrific from where I was stood. One fella seemed to be flying through the air whilst the other one kicked him and bashed him up whilst he was down. I was with my friends and it took Afew seconds to register what was going on. On the whole it was ignored then a couple of people went over and the bigger bloke walked off. After awhile we went over to see if he needed medical attention to be met with a short no from his friends. Then we said actually if it hadn't been broken up where would we find security? Is there a number to call? Would you grab someone from a shop? Is this unusual for Glasto? We are normally tucked up in bed by midnight and just assumed everyone got along nicely.
The people trying to break up this fight were my friends. We didn't know the guy but we had noticed two other men pushing him on to the floor and trying to beat him up.
My memory is a little fuzzy - but he somehow managed to get them off him (think one of my friends might have pulled one of them off) and the guy legged it with the 2 guys and a couple of my friends following.
I'm not sure what happened next as I was just told to 'mind the drinks' but I was told that it was unprovoked and the guy was fine. Also - I don't think my friends intended to sound kurt or anything, probably just a bit stressed after what was a pretty eventful couple of minutes. It sucks how many people seemed to stand by when it was first kicking off as well.
It wasn't the only trouble we had seen this year either. We seen a guy in the same area get pissed on and pushed about after he was caught peeing against one of the fences that surround the front of West Holts stage - which is totally uncalled for in my opinion.
I haven't witnessed any trouble in the 2 years before this, so hopefully this isn't a sign of the glasto crowd becoming more violent. There are enough knuckle draggers in real life, I go Glastonbury to escape that kind of thing.

re FWF.
They had a 3.30 slot on the Hell Stage. To have that replaced by just one of them probably DJ;ing at Strummerville is a bit gutting.
The Park slot was a fall back, FWF on the Hell Stage sounded like a match made in heaven! Was really looking forward to it.
good news: they're back on Hell stage, 4:10 on Saturday http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2015/?stage#hellstage

Here is why FWF might have vanished from Hell
But they're playing The Park 16:30 - 17:30 on sunday?

thanks, I will try!!
imgur.com is a good site for hosting images, pretty sure they have an app you can use as well.

They were shite anyway..

They remind me of heavy-Muse, but not because of the vocals.
They remind me of those heavy riffs that Muse tend to play for 30 seconds at the end of each song when they're playing live and that's fine for 30 seconds, but an entire album? Booorrrinngg. Give me DFA any day of the week.

There was a bit of an argument about umbrellas at the front of the Pyramid stage at the start of Robert Plant's set.
Some woman wearing full waterproofs who was stood at the barrier refused to put her umbrella down when asked nicely. Eventually ended up in people shouting at her continuously and one guy trying to grab it off her. There was a scottish girl next to me who said she wished she had a pint she could pour over the girl's head.
It kinda ruined the first part of the set for me and the others who couldn't really see a thing.
If you are so desperate to stay dry and comfy then may I suggest that Glastonbury, nevermind the front row of the pyramid stage, might not be the place for you.

highlight of my weekend together with Fat White Family. It had great music, theatrics, noise and awesome guitar playing. Already booking tickets to her next Manchester show.

I ended up getting a 'post boxing match swollen black eye' after getting a hay fever induced eye infection last year. Things that helped me: Antihistamine eye drops, Optrex, nasal spray and a shed load of Antihistamines. Maybe some sunglasses to shield your eyes as well.
You can also get a steroid injection from your GP if you happen to get it bad enough, something I've forgot to do in time for Glasto this year.
Hay Fever fucking sucks.

to be honest you could probably grab a pair on the site. No idea how much they'd cost, but they'd certainly be more comfortable, and you've already got wellies as a back-up if sh*t really does hit the fan.
I picked up a pair of wellies from a stall near John Peel for £20 last year, a bit expensive, but worth it if, like me, you don't want to carry wellies with you.

In order: Leave house, drive to coach, get on coach, complain about being on coach, get off coach, get in queue, complain about queuing after walking straight in last year.

... Chris Waddle.
And while we're on the subject, Accuweather's looking v good!
http://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/bristol/bs1-6/june-weather/327328
It's not looking as good as it was this time yesterday.
This thread has turned me into a nervous wreck, think I'll just stick to praying to the god's of the sun.

Last year when I fell asleep standing up in the middle of The Temple on Sunday night. One or two more hours in bed this year I think.
