  1. The little venues in Shangri La where definitely the late night highlights for me, Shangrilati and Plutos especially, thought Bezs acid hiuse was great this year aswell.

Previous 2 years I thought Hell was brilliant but just walked past it this year too busy and know one on the line really appealing to me. Watched JeSuS and Craig Charles in Heaven and just didn't work for me.

I terms of improving the late night entertainment, I think The Common could squeeze another decent sized tent into it, maybe even another little bar. Also as people have mentioned Rocket dinner etc could make way for a better venue, I'd to see the part of Shangri La with the food stalls expanded backwards if at all possible making way for one or 2 more venues, a latter running Arcadia or a smaller tent nearby would help with spreading the crowd as would another venue in The Park.

  2. The Other Stage needs a major rework I think loads of sound bleed coming from Arcadia and The Glade, really poor vocal levels on all the acts I seen there and generally terrible atmosphere unless you where quite clpse to the front.

  3. Didn't any major trouble tbh no actually fighting a few people exchaning words Sunday night but thats to be expected after 5 nights in Glasto, a Women tried start an argument with us in the Downlow Wednesday night when we asked the 2 lads she was with to stop throwing cans of larger across the table towards us, they'd just had 1 too many and didn't realise what they where doing. Women was obviously looking for somewhere to vent her anger though haha (weird she was middle aged and looked quite 'well to do' aswell), a quick sing and dance in the Krishna tent on our way back the tent raised all our spirits again though

  4. Around 11 of us camped in Oxylers for the 3rd year running, and didn't here any stories of anyone near us being robbed (though we all tend to keep money/phones on us 24/7), never had any problems on that campsite. Infact the only slightly negative thing there for us this year was the obnoxious group of Australians & cockneys by us who didn't seem to leave there tents for half the festival.

  5. Other Stage opener is The Charlatans. They ain't gonna sub.

I think it'll be Elbow, and I'll happily miss them after seeing them last year.

No Motorhead to sub with an extended slot, with who evers pencilled in to opener the Other Stage, given a slot on the pyramid, most likely before Motorhead

Easiest thing for the bookers to do with maybe giving slightly extended sets to he Alabama Shakes and James Bay.

I'd say it either that scenario or, moving Ronson from the other to the Pyramid and giving a longer set to the Courteeners and Vaccines on the other

  6. Can't see them getting a stall, silly really though people going on about commercialism though, hundreds of food vendors on the site that are less ethical and get away year on year selling terrible shite classed as food.

  7. The que at gate A Wednesday morning, women on the phone presumably on the phone to one of her kids she was separated from, in a thick yorkshire shouts down the phone

"I'm looking for you, so stop giving me jib!"

  8. Was brilliant, one of the highlights of the festival for sure. Amazing atmosphere inside and David Morales DJ set was probably the best I heard all weekend. Remember speaking to a security guard in the smoking bit an hour in and there was still a 2 hour que outside, gutted for those who couldn't get in

  9. Didn't see one bit of trouble on both days we where there, and will be going again next year, great line up especially for the price.

Any festival that's less than 10 minutes from a city centre is going to attract an increased number of idiots though
