  1. Reports today of young Barca player Sandro Ramirez coming to the toon on loan for a year, provided we stay up. I see 2 issues with this:

    1. Obviously the whole staying up part is a sore subject.

    2. Barca have said they have no intention of selling him, why oh why are we not trying to put together a consistent (insert consistently bad jokes as you wish) team and build some kind of chemistry again.

EDIT: I will be bloody pleased if we manage to snag Charlie Austin in the summer though.

  2. I can vouch for Asda's create your own pizza, for the money, they're bloody delicious.

I'm also partial to having the occasional BBQ sauce base.

  3. Donar pizza is delicious, as is bolognese.

However, I now stand with the notion of no pizza is complete without chorizo, jalapenos and steak.

  4. Last year was my first and we camped in Bushy Ground which was quite good, but whats Michaels Mead like at around 3-4ish Wednesday? Also, does it have the compost loos or just drops?

On a side note, I think the twix story is still the single best thing I have ever read on any forum, ever.

  5. I'm probably being really stupid here, but what are the main issues that came along with 2010's "dust"?

EDIT: to add to the convo, last year was my first time at Glasto and the weather from friday to sunday afternoon was an eye opener.

Wednesday and Thursday were beaut though, first thing me and my friend did was go and grab an oggie and sit on the grass looking across the Other stage field.

  6. This is my first post in this thread and will possibly be my last, as I have no interest in Cricket whatsoever. However, I do happen to follow Piers Morgan on twitter and he seems very passionate about the England cricket team and there's one thing he repeats over and over again, his opinions are usually quite controversial (in general, even though I think he talks a lot of sense), so just wanted to see what people in here thought about it.

To be honest, it's probably already been spoke about in here a million times over, but I'm not trapesing back through 100 pages! haha

So, who thinks England should BringBackKP?

  7. I really REALLY don't feel that Queen + Adam Lambert works at all.

Unfortunately I'm not old enough to warrant saying I saw Queen with Freddie, but I did see them with Paul Rodgers and that was miles better than the with Adam Lambert, they just don't look like they click at all. I also just don't like Lambert's voice.

  8. One tiny gripe - why is there a postage fee on coach tickets you print yourself?

I thought the same, but my guess is the actual festival tickets have to get sent to the coach companies that are coming to your specific areas?

  9. I despised Tomb Raider, I do not understand why it reviewed so well. I also don't understand why I put myself through the entire game, I think I may have been thinking "it'll get better I'm sure".

Uncharted is better in every single possible way.

  10. Excuse me if this has already been asked (or just generally been disagreed with doing) but is there a way Neil can change the name of this thread? Just something general like "The Gaming Thread" if everyone agrees to one?

  11. Just had a quick look at the official site, I find it bizarre that there isn't a single reference to the fact that the balance window is now open. You would think that would be front and centre.

I thought this, I'm sure it wasn't like that last year.

I had to follow the link in the eFests article!

  12. I'm fairly interested in Never Alone but that's about it.

I got the biggest trolling april fools email from Playstation today regarding "Playstation Flow", a set of goggles and bands that track body movements and is for underwater use

  13. 99% sure it's legit.

EDIT: Also, how are people getting on with Bloodborne? It's sitting in my cabinet staring me in the face and I can not wait to start it. But I'm loving Dying Light and Hardline at the mo and there's no way I could be playing 3 games at the same time, my mind would explode, I struggle enough with 2.

  14. Dying Light is really really so much more than I thought it was going to be, it's fantastic. The combat is brutal and the human characters are very difficult to beat down. Saying that, I'm about 5 hours in and just found my first gun (that I can use anyway, actual first one went in the Gunslinger side mission) so hopefully they're a little easier now.

Have Bloodborne waiting for me when I finish too, I'm excited about that. The only souls game I played before was Demon's Souls and thought the combat was sluggish and a bit boring. However I liked the atmosphere and did "get" the difficulty thing, I can remember beating the Phalanx on the first level after about 10-11 tries and feeling like a fucking beast. I've read a few things on Bloodborne and it sounds like everything I didn't like about Demon's Souls has been rectified, can't wait.

  15. My name is TheJackson and last year me and a friend ventured into the healing fields, we found a fire with around 15 people (young, old, parents along with their children) sat round it and joined them, and we sat listening to two guys telling tales of folklore for around an hour and totally forgot about the chaos that was happening outside these fields for a bit. A head clearer for sure.
