Ahh no worries. Thanks for clarifying. Just waiting / wondering for any signs that Eminem is actively going to do shows again. I guess if he was in talks he’s at least thinking about it!

Does anyone know what happened to the Eminem info? Reckon he pulled out and is maybe planning his own shows, or did it not come from a reliable source in the first place?

They had about 6 liquid death branded trucks / pop ups that had download dog stickers on them outside the venue at the end of the show. Not sure who the people giving them out were, but with liquid death being the new download sponsor it does seem to add up with the FOB rumour from the download forum. Not saying it’s confirmed, but thought it would add to the speculation!

They were giving this out after fall out boy in Cardiff today. Downloads new sponsor. They told me FOB are headlining download.

ACDC now have a show next October in the states, so they are active again later this year!

I went to see Will Varley last night in Stroud. Met him after the show and he told me he is playing Sunday at Glasto this year, early evening on Left Field 😀

I was wondering why Slipknot cancelled Knotfest instead of just postponing to next August, but could have been due to ticket sales.

Oh absolutely, I get that 100%. I knew the plans for Hyde Park fell through, I remember his ‘Never Hyde’ tease. I just meant that plans fell through for that and something got drafted in last minute. If he’s announcing a few dates and something isn’t quite ready just yet then it’ll mean Sziget getting help back too if he wants to announce dates all together. Just me theorising, but it can happen.

When Eminem played his Wembley shows in July 2014, he didn’t announce them until May! So definitely don’t need to consider that he’s dropped out yet with no new info to say so. I know headline shows are different to festival shows but still has time if negotiations / final tour plans are coming together

In an article with NME Biffy Clyro said that the new lead single from the album is the furthest thing from an indication of what the new album will sound like... but we shall see. It’s blatantly a pop single to try and get radio attention. I miss the pre-puzzle era biffy!

I understand why everyone is complaining about Eminem headlining for the third time since 2013, although from Reading and Leeds I respective he is a major ticket shifter. But nobody is saying the same about Biffy - they headlined in 2013, co-headlined in 2016 and are supposedly back again this year too.
At least in 2013 we had strong subs in Nine Inch Nails and System of a Down!
If this info is true then they must really be struggling. Hopefully they get RATM next year if that’s when they tour Europe, if download don’t nab them first!
