Radiohead 1997
REM 1999
Brian Wilson 2005
Morrissey 2004
Rage Against the Machine 1994
To be honest I could name 100. Most of which weren't necessarily the best gig/performance, just right time, right place.

late on this thread so apologies if it's already been mentioned....
Large Comfort bottle for that middle of the night 'comfort' break... Do the business, the tent smells of spring mountain freshness and a large entrance rim for guys like myself.?

Yes, whilst this has even a slight potential to bring profit to the government, how big or how small that may be, the band should be refusing to play there as a means of showing how unacceptable their actions are.
They should be very willing to sacrifice the entertainment of some Israeli fans to send a message that the murdering cowards who are governing them are also the ones at the heart of the illegal settlements and the blood thirsty massacres
Bands like Radiohead making a stance against a sickeningly corrupt regime send a big message also, instead of letting their pockets talk
Apologies if it's already been mentioned.. Jonny Greenwood's missus is Israeli and I believe his kids all have Israeli names..
I wonder if they're doing their buddy a favour.. they certainly won't be lining their pockets. If money was their bag, they'd add another 60 gigs to their US tour and sell out.
Funny how things pan out.. Lady gaga plays the Super Bowl and she's a hero. Radiohead play Israel and they're Evil.

Certainly don't seem to have caught the imagination in Scotland. You would think at £65 a day ticket, they might have been a popular booking, but the only type of ticket to sell out for TRNSMT so far are Saturday-Sunday joint tickets.
Ticketmaster still have all variations of tickets available... including Saturday-Sunday.

Think you've misunderstood the meaning of the word literally.
A lot of people do.... I once watched a football match where Jamie Rednapp described Micheal Owen as literally a greyhound

'Kinnell mate... I've been really depressed about my board reputation and I just noticed yours.
How do you sleep at night?

I'll help some of the ticketless out in the resale for the 2hr cider binge...
However, I also need your help getting my stats back up.. For some reason my recently posted hilarious thread resulted in me be being a 'bad' member.
PS.. I so hope they play let down

I seem to remember still getting my 2002 ones from HMV....?
I purchased my first Glasto tickets from Spillers Records in Cardiff...They'd already been on sale for a month or so.
I think they cost something in the region of £60 with free parking...and the parking was probably about 100 yards from ped gate D.

I know Radiohead are loved on here, but not sure I know anyone else is a big fan so not sure how much interest there will be as a headliner. Do you think they might play the Other Stage?
Im thinking the same about Depeche Mode, I guess they would have a similar size UK following to New Order, who played Other last year.
Probably due to the people you mix with... Radiohead are huge and will only ever play Pyramid.
They're certainly far bigger than New Order and Depech Mode, especially in Glastonbury terms.

We all love Glasto.. I reckon these really good people know how shit they'd feel if they missed out.
I'd certainly help where I could

Given the annual demand for Glastonbury tickets - isn't it time to put in a big price hike and reduce number of tickets available? Say £300+, would still be amazing value in my view
Lol... You need to get better PR advice.

Tend to agree with the whole deposit non refundable crowd...

I was about to type some outraged reply in my horror at the original post deception

Cheers for making sure, very good of you, and at least that clears the thread up of anyone, nevermind how unlikely, believing it
Bollocks...
My cunning plan failed... I was going to be the only person trying for tickets this evening!!!
Going to have to revert to plan B and get my Mum and the in-laws to help F5ing for tickets at 6pm

Hi All,
I just thought that I should share some very important ticket news with everyone,.

Radiohead 97
Brian Wilson 05
Rage Against the Machine 94
REM 99
Morrissey 04
TBH I could name another 20.... The only definite is Radiohead 97 as no 1

I took my Mum in 2014, she was 68 at the time.... she enjoyed it, but found the walking hard.
My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time.... I must have looked so rock and roll
-
If Emily has her way.. One D, Little Mix and Justin Bieber.
I just hope Radiohead do it.. On the proviso that I get tickets

We had together towed from Pink 57, it cost us tenna. We didn't mind paying though, as these guys are local farmers not festival employees.
God knows what it's going to be like this morning!
