Chvrches above Lorde? Dua Lipa and St Vincent subbing NME? Jack White and 1975 subbing Main? LCD Soundsystem 3rd? No chance! It's gonna be such a let down for everyone as expectations on this forum are always way too high.

I do think Arcade Fire have been overlooked as a potential headliner though.

Uno, Dos, Tre are absolutely tragic. Green Day need to go away.

Green Day are lucky that American Idiot took off the way it did, otherwise they wouldn’t be anywhere near where they are now. Around the time of Warning they were in the gutter.

For Arctics you could say the same about AM... Suck It And See wasn't exactly a massive success they were on the way down at that point. Can we not just agree that they are both massive awesome bands that would be great if they played?

Green Day are the better live band though btw haha

I know some people used Lollapalooza Berlin as an example of how two stages side by side would work, but I just quickly looked on google maps to see how it looks and they're a lot further apart than I expected. There's no way they could fit that in the site at Leeds, they'd have to be a lot closer to each other. Don't know how close they could be though realistically.

Here's a better example of how it could work  from Osheaga festival in Canada that I went to in 2016. It was a pretty good system I have to say so I hope the rumours are true.

  11. The Rock en Seine headline slots on Friday and Sunday are taken up by Arctic Monkeys on one night and QOTSA on the other.

That assumes that QOTSA are the final headliner :/ I really don't see this double headliner happening. There's only been once thats happened and QOTSA + Paramore as joint headliners doesn't really make sense there not really similar in musical style. Was the info we had on the doube headliner reliable?
