This is the map on the website of the two zones that were the local weekend ticket sales. The Sunday tickets description is a bit vague saying Mendip and Central Somerset but pick ups only from Castle Cary, Frome, Radstock, Glastonbury, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet, Street and Wells.

Same for me. I had last Mondays photo approved and then yesterdays new registration approved half an hour later

I think so too. Tried checking and the registration doesn’t exist any more. That’s normal I think when waiting for new photo confirmation but it’s been a full week now. Have had that registration for about 15 years. Re registered earlier so hopefully that comes back fine. Need to make sure everyone who tries for tickets has my new number.

Exactly the same for me. It says can take 3 working days but if lots of people updated the photo I guess it may take longer. I’m going to wait until next week and if I still don’t hear anything then I’ll re register. 

[Dealing with Glasto fomo..]

I’m suffering double FOMO this weekend. Second glastonbury in a row I haven’t got tickets. Been going since 1998 when I was 13. Live 20 minutes away. Rushed to Frome last night for Paul McCartney tickets and missed them too. Cider and BBC highlights easing the pain slightly. 

[First Gig Back]

I was at the Royal Blood gig at The O2 Academy in Bristol last Wednesday. The gig was fantastic and I’d missed live music so much. Unfortunately on Saturday I came down with Covid symptoms and ended up testing positive. I found out tonight about a friend of a friend who was also there who also came down with symptoms and tested positive over the weekend. My brother who was stood quite a bit away from me got a ping on the app tonight as a close contact of someone as well and the date puts it at the gig. I didn’t have the app at the time so it’s not from me. I’m double jabbed but that isn’t completely effective against transmission. Luckily so far the effects haven’t been too bad so that should be the vaccine doing it’s thing. These events are what I’ve craved and missed so much but there is still a risk. I hope things settle as numbers continue to drop and this doesn’t become a common occurrence.

Not missed a Glastonbury since 2005. Live about 15 miles away. Absolutely gutted today. Resale seems so far away too

I’m just back from there. Joined the queue at 8am. Got tickets at 10am. No idea where the end of it was at that point. Can’t see these not selling today. Especially with upto 4 tickets per person.

Same here. Literally live 5 minute walk away. Have seen them live 4/5 times. Last time being Wembley Stadium. Not getting to go because I wasn't on a mailing list sucks. Have tried everything to get a ticket but no joy. Even parked outside for 6pm yesterday just in case any tickets were released. I wish this was Ed Sheerin announcing this way. Then I wouldn't care if it was in my garage and I wasn't going.

I am parked outside the cheese and grain right now on the off chance any tickets are released by the venue. Huge long shot but worth a try. Basically no one about and the reception person only confirming a private function tomorrow. Wouldn't say any more. Find out soon I guess.

I live in Frome. Have been told by someone who used to do sound at Cheese and Grain that the rumours are true. I just drove down on the off chance but not a lot going on. Unfortunately I didn't get a boarding pass. 

[2017 Ticket Sale]

Got through on my laptop. Just then the mouse pad stopped working. Great timing. Tabbed through and entered all details. There's a box at bottom of payment page you have to tick. It would only tab past it. Was raging. Then got through on girlfriends old crappy laptop twice only for it to crash both times. Saw it had sold out and was completely gutted. Then a mate rang saying he'd got the 5 I needed. He's not even going himself. Legend. Heart attack just about stopped. Off to shop now for some spicy rum as a thank you. He's earned it. What a stressful morning. Thankfully got there in the end.
