The Goan Fish Curry breakfast kedgeree. £8 for a smallish looking portion, but boy oh boy did it taste good with that hot sauce, and kept me going until evening. Had to go back the next day for another.

Wins: electrolytes work. Steel water bottle. Silver blanket pegged between tent outer/inner made a difference in the morning heat. Leaving gate A queue after 2.5 hours in zigzags to walk right through D.
Losses: like most years I sat on my sunglasses. Having bought earplugs didn’t wear them once.

As long as I’m still able to decant my usual 5 litres of vodka into SOMETHING, then I’m all for this!!
I'm going to try refilling the bag from a wine box.

I think the fact there's also an airport called CAG is just a coincidence. Even if the Cheese and Grain thing doesn't happen, I think CAG will be a reference to something else (such as Confirmed At Glastonbury). I doubt they meant to put it in as a second Italian reference.
Anyway, only just over 2 hours until we find out
2 hours? not if it's 1800 PST it isn't

Was stood next to Will Young watching Hobo Jones late Saturday night. He seemed to be enjoying the gig.

I saw Motorhead quite a few times in the late 70s, early 80s, when Lemmy was a snarling, strutting, arrogant SOAB - played the part absolutely brilliantly on stage. Last saw them about 5 years ago in a smallish gig at Leas Cliff Halls in Folkestone, and afterwards I said I'd never go and seem them again - he just seemed a sad, shadow of his former self. But I can't see how I can stay away from seeing them at Glastonbury. Really hope he's up to it physically.

I'll be dancing to Wilko in the Acoustic, hopefully. There's always many other things to see and do.

Anyone know if hobo jones are going to be opening the Avalon on Friday?
Got to be odds on. I saw them busking Christmas Eve in Maidstone and they said they were lined up for 2015.

Saw Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs busking in Maidstone yesterday. They said they're playing again 2015. Sure it'll be Avalon. Merry Christmas!

Kent, usually two of us travel on motorcycles in around 3 hours. To give us a better chance of tickets, this year we're on the coach from London.

pretty sure there will be quite a few inflatable ladders
Seeing them on Tuesday at The Garage, I'll remind HPA to bring his own if I get the chance
