  1. We are now going to be sharing a friend's tipi and so have a Campervan West ticket for sale at face value (£100).  We are going on Thursday and I am happy to meet up on the main road below Stickleball Lane to hand over the ticket and help with entry.  But I don't know if entry without the matching ticket is going to be that much of a problem - I have read the other posts on this subject and I agree security may be much increased this year, but there are lots of valid reasons why the Campervan ticket holder might not be in the vehicle.  We had this last year - the person in our group who managed to successfully buy the ticket (we were all trying to get on the site) was not the driver.  We were all going on Thursday, but then he got the chance to go down the day before so when we arrived he was already on site.  The guys at the gate never looked at our entry tickets, just wanted to see the Campervan ticket.

  2. Frantic few days so have only just caught up with you guys.  Completely missed the Oxfam comp as a result - that'll teach me!  Do we know if anyone on here won the West Country newspapers comp?  I think they were contacting the winner last week?

I thought I had the push notifications on but it doesn't seem to work so I'm 5 mins behind but it is curious.
Oooh! Veggies! What are you growing? I harvested some spinach, lettuce and radishes yesterday. Gardening is my favourite!

Push notifications don't work with my type of email account so I'm always behind too.  You are way ahead of me with your veg - we've had so many frosts overnight here that I haven't dared plant anything out until last week so it's all v small!  I've been sowing more seeds today - spinach, beetroot, carrots, parsnips and lettuce, and netting my brassicas!  I just love it - nothing more stress-busting, even when pining for a Glastonbury ticket!

Has anyone else noticed the amount of activity from Siblins e-mail monitor this afternoon?

Yes, it's mad!  Am trying to work in my veg patch and keep scrabbling for my phone!

haha! It's ok! I didn't mean any harm over it, it just looked odd is all.

I only signed up to Twitter so I could follow Glastonbury and Emily - I didn't actually want to get involved in using it. Still after a ticket, though, so thought there was no harm in entering the comp.. Feeling about 1 inch high and v stupid now.

    I mean come on :https://twitter.com/tessafarming
sorry if it's someone on here but get real, honestly! haha. At least retweet some things and add some photos to make it look like a real account. haha

OMG that is me and I promise I am real, but a total Twitter virgin - only signed up a couple of weeks ago and don't even know what I'm doing AND did typo when put in hashtag.  Deserve all the scorn of you Twitter experts.  I am deleting my Twitter account now!

  7. Just seen siblin's alert from 5.30 - looks like the page was open and then the grey banner that says they're experiencing the max no of transactions.  Please don't tell me the page opened at 5.30!

  8. Sorry to post on this thread but I know you're all the same lovelies who've been my forum friends on the Secret Sales thread!  I just can't get that thread to load and I got a couple of alerts from siblin at 3am!  Presumably just a robot at See Tickets messing around with the page?

Damn.  Should've checked my emails as soon as I got up! Still if someone who's still on here gets it I'll be happy.  I think there's only 3 of us survivors from last Thursday still on.

I'm still on and reading avidly - just not posting!

Well done! 45 miles is no small feat for a first time in a while!

Thanks - I kept going thinking of all the money we were raising for Hampshire air ambulance - an essential service for those of us who live in the middle of nowhere and far from an a&e and totally funded by the public.

  11. So sorry to ask but please can someone fill me in on what's happened today? Trying to scroll back through thread but only have phone and rubbish signal. Just came off 45 mile charity bike ride - first time on a bike for six years and my bum will never be the same. Neil and siblin's alerts kept going off but after the first few times my friends took my phone away as I was holding everyone up! Were there any more sales? I'm still keeping the faith until all hope is defo gone!

  12. Well done everyone who got a ticket!  Was glued to my computer all day (and yesterday and the day before and the day before etc etc) but finally had to go out to pick up a bike to ride in tomorrow's charity bike ride.  Drove into spot where there was only Edge and of course that's when it all kicked off - got Neil's text alert but no way to connect.  I've got a ticket but was trying to get one for my lovely cousin who's had a shit year and is desperate to go.  Oh well, I am keeping the faith - I can't believe they could have sold out so quickly and am banking on another flash sale - better not happen tomorrow when I'm cycling through the New Forest though!  Thanks to siblin and Neil for brilliant alerts.

I mean , tomorrow is Friday 13th..  Those lovely people at SEE probably had it in their diary for ages just to make those superstitious people out there a little bit more nerve wracked!

Please not Friday! Charity bike ride! Good luck everyone if it's today.

  14. Yes, a lot of that went on back in the day - never me of course! Loving this thread and so grateful to all you lovely peeps for all the help and positive thinking!  Oh why did I sign up for that all day charity bike on Friday... Please let it be over by then!

  15. Thanks, I've got siblin's, but not efestival's - his email confirming my registration was a do not reply.  His system alerts via text and email, but I just don't want his email to get lost in my normal email traffic, as I only have a loud notification sound set up on my VIP list, not for other emails.
