I've been out of the loop for a very long time. What's happened to QOTSA?!

Ah no sorry mate, no Doves info, i'm just saying that I was surprised that them or Foals weren't on the first poster.
Sadly, one of the band members has posted on Insta that they aren't playing at Glasto.
Gutted! Still plenty of chances to see them elsewhere this summer but a glasto set would've been perfect.

This would be fantastic news!! .... I know there's obviously a long way to go with the full line up, but it would seem bizarre if Foals & Doves weren't there this year. Fingers Crossed.
Where does the Doves info come from? Was really hoping they'd appear on the final poster

Friday: Radiohead
Saturday: Sasha & Digweed
Sunday: Justice
Seems like a popular trio!

Timothy Leary style representations of current wind & rain levels.
That is a thing of beauty!

My first Glastonbury. I had no idea what to expect and was woefully under-prepared for even a fairweather festival, let alone a mudfest. I'd never even seen a tent before, let alone put one up. I prepared very well chem-wise though so have little recollection apart from Radiohead playing what is still to this day the only musical event I consider a life-changing experience. An astonishing experience that I thankfully still have a few shards of memory of. Suprised no-one else has mentioned Daft Punk's incredible closing set in the Dance Tent on Sunday? I saw the Pyramid shows and this - pre-robot masks and huge visuals - was better IMO.
My boots were crap, I only had 1 spare pair of socks and so my feet were permanently wet for 5 days. I came home and peeled an entire layer of skin off both feet, couldn't walk for a couple of days after. Took 2 years to get over the mud trauma. Have only missed a couple since then. In retrospect it wasn't so bad, 2007 being worse for actually being cold and rained on, 2016 being even muddier but fun, but these days we prepare like it's an arctic expedition.
97 was my first Glasto too, and I can echo the Radiohead thing! I went with 2 people I worked with after after buying my ticket in the free-ads the week before. I barely saw the couple I went with and turned up in trainers lol. How things have changed. 2017 will be my 12th Glasto, and seeing Radiohead on the pyramid again will be so special!! Whilst my memory of 97 is very hazy now, I do remember The Smashing Pumpkins blowing me away! I was also a massive prodigy fan and loved everything about the anarchic set

Another vote here for Jamiroquai, seems odd to have those 2 o2 dates over the festival weekend and not make a trip to the farm...

7.45 to coincide with 6 Music news?

Would love to see Estrons at the festival, got a thing about her voice for sure!

Sean Keavney just 'accidentally' announced BSP will be Glasto this year

My perfect setlist would go something like:
Intro
1. Break and Enter
2. Claustrophobic Sting
3. Spitfire
4. Poison
5. Rebel Radio (Rene La Vice remix)
6. Voodoo People (Pendulum remix)
7. Climbatize
8. Smack My Bitch Up (Noisia remix)
9. Your Love
10. Ruff In The Jungle Bizness
11. Music Reach 1, 2, 3, 4
12. Everybody In The Place (Warrior's Dance MK version)
13. Out Of Space
-------------------------------------
14. Weather Experience
15. Take Me To The Hospital
16. Hyperspeed
17. Their Law
--------------------------------------
3 Kilos
What a stunning set list! I've seen the prodigy over 30 times and I don't remember them playing anything from the narcotic suite...doesn't mean it didn't happen tho I'd throw in Diesel Power as well, when that bass drops it can be bone shaking if LH is in the right mood!

The hill is fine. 90 seconds walk. Its the 25 minutes after that to get back to the arse end of E15, 16 or 17 (if you end up there) which is the issue.
Hmmm!! What time would you suggest getting there to avoid that scenario?! Would wednesday lunchtime already be too late?!!

Hill of Death is actually the hill of slight inconvenience. It has an ice cream van at the bottom which aids the climb at 5am after a night of partying
SOLD!!

Ah yes, the Hill of Death! So its reputation is overstated??!

Hi all
I've been in West campervan field for last 2 years, but i'm considering East this years as we tend to be in the SE corner after hours. The walk back to West can be a bit of a killer by monday morning!
What are the pros and cons of each? Would East be better for those of us that enjoy late night shenanigans?!

Yeah mine too. I don't usually mind which night a headliner does but I'm not so sure I'll continue going after the fallow year so if it was to be my last then there's no better way to finish.
This! I'm in the same camp and completely agree it would be a fitting send off

Radiohead - 1997. My first Glastonbury and i'm still waiting for this to be beaten...a close second was Blur 2009.

Hi Neil, signed up for page checker, does this automatically pick the right pages to check or do I need to update some settings somewhere? Cheers

Have you only got half the 2015 hologram then??

Seeing Orbital instead of Stevie Wonder. The fact that I saw orbital again later that year makes the decision even more questionable!
