Sorry, I think I have lost the thread. Do we think that there will be a secret resale today?

Living in hope, trying for 2 friends. Unfortunately there just doesn't seem to be much website movement at all so my best guess is there won't be any....

If I'm trying for a friend and random e-fester - how does this work with postage of tickets?

If they're General Sale i'm pretty sure the tickets are sent to each registered holder personally. Regardless of who paid for them.

Coach tickets emails are slightly different and just sent to the Lead Booker (first reg put in i think?) and not who paid for them.

TL:DR - f you pay for someone's ticket i guess you just need to chase them for payment and not worry about posting!

  3. Managed to get a pair from Southampton. I'm trying for people on Sunday and will hopefully be able to try for the Resale Club too.

Are the secret resales still a thing? They used to happen unannounced and shortly after the last refund date (3rd May)

This is true! They just always seem very clean...

Also defo the minority of people and have only ever really experienced it around the Pyramid Stage where I tend not to spend too much time at generally - so could also just be because it is that stage and I want to get to the Cider Bus quickly!

I'm with you there. Woe betide those who slow down the cider consumption!

For the sake of the people going I kind of hope not! I've found in recent years that the Sunday has less of a friendly atmosphere during the day and I wonder if it is partly down to the Sunday ticket holders!

Last year I was given many dirty looks and had comments muttered when trying to get to the Cider Bus from the Pyramid stage and many people refusing to move. There seemed to be a wall of clean people sat on fold out chairs around the edge of the stage.

Obviously not every Sunday ticket holder is like that but I did notice a difference and so did a number of the people I was with - was it just us being tired at that point or did anyone else notice this?

I'm definitely fairly jaded myself by Sunday! Might be just the weekend catching up with people?

that was a scam I believe you can't transfer competition tickets. Glastonbury were aware of this (if it's who I think it was)

Yeah you're probably right, even if he accepted the offer I was gonna need a lot of confirmation that my name/s could be transferred.

  7. Two here, just pop them through my front door.

As an aside, saw a guy trying to flog his Guardian winning tickets on Twitter a few days ago, i did offer £500 for the pair ( on provision of an email confirmation or proof) but he said he had a much bigger offer.

Sorry about this I have a ticket and I am trying to buy for 2 mates. Can I use my card details or should I use theirs??

Hi, you can use anyone's card details. I did the same myself 2 years ago, me and a friend got tickets and used (kindly with permission!) her husbands card to get them.

Not as many people this morning on here although it does tend to spike in the afternoon

Yeah, traditionally the tickets have been going on sale in the afternoon so maybe that's why. SEE Towers are not early risers..

  10. Howdy, Been following the page for ages but not posted much. Have been able to get secret tickets in 2011, 2013 and 2014. Does seem a bit more popular this year, but I'm sticking here til the bitter end!
