  1. I'm going to have to give it a few more days before I can bring my self to attack the iplayer and revisit this. Me and two mates, both massive Radiohead fans, positioned ourselves in our usual spot just a little up the hill on the right of the stage. I got miffed with the chatters and we continued to relocate until we were surrounded by people as into it as we were. I remember having to have a word with myself between songs to remember the moment and not to let the booze and drugs make me forget.

A truly special set, the screens didn't bother me at the time because I was so into the music, but I completely understand people not connecting if they weren't as familiar with some of the songs. Other mates of mine who were pilled up and just waiting for the bangers (?) left after a few songs and went to see Dizzee. Troglodytes.

  2. I have a Citizencard. Anyone remember those? I think it was official Glasto ID of choice circa 2005. Don't drive and not risking taking my passport so it'll  have to do.

  3. I had the lyrics to 4th Of July tip- exed onto my pencil case at school while I was doing my GCSE's. Wow that makes me feel old.

Euphoria Morning soundtracked my college years. This is my fave to play on guitar.

His voice and songwriting was just the shiznit. RIP

  4. I got married 1 month after Glasto last year so I was arguably in the best shape I'd ever been, which really helped get me though a particularly clarty festival.

Fast forward to now and I really need to get back on it. Currently running 5 - 10k a couple of times a week but it's the work snacks that are my downfall. What kind of psychopath says no to cake!?

  5. Last year. Christine & The Queens on the Other Stage on the Friday. Brexit had just been announced. It was drizzling. But she dropped Tilted, the sun came out, I turned to my friend to show them I was crying and they were crying too. We hugged. Even though last year was a tough one, that will be a favourite memory for a long time.

Another one was The Specials in 2009. My mates are all big fans but we essentially all danced like twats for the whole set. Afterwards a guy behind us came up to us and said ''It's so nice to see young people enjoying the Specials.'' We were all new into our 30's at that time so being called young felt like something to be treasured.

  6. I was dragged to see Jessie J when she played in a leg cast, I'm not good with years. The sun was shining at least.

I also walked through the field while Kate Nash was playing. I picked up my pace heartily.

Unkle headlined in a dance tent one year and I went alone. The guitar was too loud and everybody kept shouting as much.

Also the Vaccines on the Other a few years back. The wind got the best of their PA I think.

With it looking likely we'll get the full poster within the next 7 days is there one, realistic, act in particular (RH aside) you're hoping to see pop up?

The Coral for me. It was mentioned on here that they may have been held back from the initial poster due to them headlining Liverpool Sound City. Hoping that's the case.
