The other thing i noticed was how busy it was on Sunday in comparison to the other days, they must have thought fuck it and sold as many day tickets as possible for the Arctics day at Leeds to make up for the lack of sales on the two other days. The crowd seemed twice as big for AM as it did for Blink or Paramore?
It took me around 15-20 minutes just to get back to the exit at the side of the NME tent because of the congestion in comparison to the couple minutes when watching the other 2 headliners.
To be fair the Courteeners will have drawn a big crowd and Blink play the festival all the time were as the Arctic Monkeys are the biggest band in the country and they had no real competition. One of my friends said that Nero was empty.

Surprised that the Arctic Monkeys are getting so much hate I thought they absolutely smashed it, I've seen them three times and last night was the best one. It was like the old days, they seemed to be genuinely loving being up there and 'When the Sun Goes Down' was really special as it came so out of the blue.
-
Well seeing as how R&L is still on the AM tour cycle, it won't be ridiculous. It'd be ridiculous if they didn't play mainly AM songs.
But surely they must realise an awful lot of people will have seen them either on their tour or ay Finsbury.
-
I've never been to an outdoor event where they are allowed so I'm surprised people thought it was acceptable to bring them.
-
Anyone know what time Peace are playing I can't get on their page on the Leeds website.
-
It'll be ridiculous if they play mainly AM songs as I imagine a very large number at Reading and Leeds will have already seen the tour at some point.
-
I've had mine since the 4th of August, ordered from the Leeds Festival website.
-
You could consider buying a cheap tent for about £10 and then just leaving it after the festival.
-
Haha did they do all that on the remake? Did they rerecord the voice cast like MGS did for twin snakes?
Also, I'm interested in Black Flag, anybody played it? I've read good reviews but I've been put off AC because of III and how badly they messed up Desmond's story arc (yes I cared about that bit of the game, it was interesting)
It's my favourite Assassins Creed game, it was an amazing map to explore and there was some fantastic missions alongside the duller tailing missions. It continues the modern day story a bit and Juno is briefly mentioned but the focus is more on the animus in this game.

Would like the Libertines but it will probably be Muse.
-
I'll just get water from the taps on site.
-
Two bottles of vodka, cordial and crate of Carling.

I hate he's said that! I love that song, and it was spot on, and thought it went down really well. If you have a look at the video from it on youtube, its probably one of the best live performances going. Seamless and perf. Shame. I love that song.
*EDIT*
Thought you were talking about Fake Tales. Soz. I can see that being played @ Reading. They'll mix it up, especially in the UK.
However, I enjoyed Teddy Picker at Glasto. And Dancing Shoes <3
I should have been clearer I was on about Fake Tales, here's the interview if you're interested http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6141014/arctic-monkeys-conquer-america-alex-turner-qa

Has Teddy Picker been dropped recently or has it been a while since they've played it. Still saddens me Fake Tales is just ignored now as well, best Arctics song for me
Alex said the crowd reaction for it at Glastonbury was poor, so don't expect it to return.
-
Saw the three songs that the BBC put on iplayer can't wait to see them at Leeds.
-
I've never been to Glastonbury but I think chairs should be banned from the arena of festivals with the exception of those with disabilities and any pensioners.

Florence and the Machine
The Stone Roses
The Who

If it's an headache I tend to have a big drink of water and a wee then have another hours nap and I'm usually fine. Id I'm just feeling a bit rough Coca-Cola does the trick.

Don't bother with that at Game you can the console, Kinect, Titanfall and two more games for £420Amazon are selling the Xbox One on it's own without Kinect for £350. Is there really any point in that?! I was expecting it to be £300 at most.. You can buy a Xbox one with Kinect and Titanfall for £380 in most places.
-
I want them to drop Dancefloor at R&L just to see the absolute carnage it causes on twitter
I wouldn't mind to be honest it doesn't work very well with their current sound
-
Surely they'd headline if they played though
-
The Wombatts apparently have a new album coming out, wouldn't be surprised to see them getting an early slot on the main stage
-
Reading Saturday is probably my favourite of the mainstages so far.

Sorry to go all football discussion on you all but I have no idea why everyone is overrating Uruguay so much. They have two big names up top but aside from that they are filth. Barely qualified.
I'll have a tenner with any of you that they finish below england (to be settled at the festival).
