I might be wrong about this but wasn't co-op basically full of single use plastic?!
No plastic bottles, and sandwiches were in film rather than the usual boxes, so I assumed this was to meet the single use ban.

Do you think they could increase the size of a couple tents ? John peel in particular is in a field pretty much by itself.
I've not got much to compare it to buy the old King Tuts tent at TITP seemed massive in comparison and used! O host pretty massive acts (new order, Calvin harris, kraftwerk Etc.) Without much trouble getting in. Even the slam tent at T seemed huge, but it was years ago when I was there so my memory might be blurry

They’ll be showing A Star Is Born surely?
Not sure what Liam will be doing though.
He's got a movie out too, "as it was".

Saw Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) and Taliban Kweli are doing a few shows In the states as Blackstar.
Would be amazing to see them.

I’m sure they surpassed 5, seem to remember hearing they did it like 13 times or something at some shows? Might be my memory exaggerating though.
You're right, was about 13 on their Paris show.
Think it was 4 or 5 when I saw it in Manchester.

From the Sonar announcement this morning I think its likely we may see Skepta and Disclosure return, possibly A$AP rocky also.

Only real doubt about that lineup is the lack of Slam Tent DJs
-
Duke Dumont was played because he is headlining the 1Xtra Live event in Glasgow the week before Big Weekend. I think Nelly Furtado and Kanye West were just played because of their 'Happy Monday' half hour.
If you look at the Radio 1 playlist for this week, it could give a few clues about who is still to be announced?
Foxes
You Me At Six
Bombay Bicycle Club
Clean Bandit
Lorde
Sam Smith
The Black Keys
The Horrors
Twin Atlantic
The only one there I would find surprising would be The Black Keys. But the rest will be playing if you ask me.

Main Headliners : Arctic Monkeys David Bowie Kanye West
Radio 1 Headliners: Avicii The Prodigy The Black Keys

By the way ? did anyone else witness the absolutely huge crowd that Bastille had ?
Went past the burger vans at the back of the radio 1 stage !

frank ocean as never played king tuts so he couldn't have!
-
Worst call of the weekend was putting Frank Ocean on the main stage, especially so high up.
Seeing as he really doesn't have any "hits" and his songs are mainly, dark, slow R&B it was never going to work.
I did still love his performance though, but it would have been hard for someone to do so if they were not a massive fan.
He should have taken Labrinth's spot, second from top in King Tuts , would have been perfect. And Labrinth would have been a better fit on the main stage.

Anyone else see Palma Violets?
they were absolutely brilliant in the tent, after a few more albums they will be definitely be able to play much higher up the bill.
Phoenix were also great within tuts, though the crowd was relatively small, it seemed to be full of fans of the band rather than a festival crowd going to see them to pass time.

Had a great time.
Highlights if the weekend were: The Killers, Phoenix, Palma Violets, Tyler The Creator and Frank Ocean
