Sorry folks officially The Dubliners are no more. Following some shows at back end of 2012 they are no more. Once Barney died that was it really and John has now retired. Some of he other members are touring but in truth it over.

For that kind of money it would be fine, if it rains in monsoon proportions no matter how good your tent you will get wet. Either way that tent would be fine for Glasto

Used Tangerine Fields in IOW this year as we were travelling from Dublin and didn't want to be lugging a load of gear.

Would have no problem using again, we'll organised, decent bar, reasonable loos.

It was pretty good arriving to a per pitched tent when the weather was so bad. Not a lot of glamour involved just pretty comfortable

[Taking a campervan for first time, questions]

In 2011we took one to West fields on the basis that is was a bit more sedate than East and smaller fields. It worked out superbly, arrived Tuesday pm and chilled out and Wed,Thurs for walking round site taking it all in. Only downside was its a fair walk from field to heart of site and going back to and forth is not really an option particularly if its muddy.

All the rumours here in Ireland,point to Bon Jovi, heaven help us!! Stones Rose took a good while to sell out 40000 tickets for Dublin Gig this year! Would be amazed if they were pencilled in for Slane.

More headline rumours needed,too much Stones talk. For me it's pretty easy,if they play and your reasonably keen go to The Pyramid Stage, if not there is loads to do elsewhere and leave those alone to enjoy.

Saw them in Dublin a number of years ago, was amazed how good they where. Count me in for headliner wish list. Much cheaper than London prices too!
