  1. A few come to mind now after watching Iplayer footage of sets i missed

fred again - not huge fan before but looked like a real moment and royal blood were just ok imo

Maneskin/rina/CATQ - got stuck opposite side of pyramid stage to woodsies getting food seeing bits of lizzo and gnr

carly rae jepsen - saw pale waves instead

Qotsa/phoenix/war on drugs - clashes with elton

  2. Only a few issues

    lack of shaded areas

    felt overcrowded at times

Lack of alternative to dance music late

people who sat down or in camping chairs in packed audiences near the front

as mentioned before lots of people doing coke, but not sure the fest can do much else

  3. First Glastonbury so not much to compare to but a few things i enjoyed

    - Campsite crew, were very friendly and helpful. Ended up being camped just infront of them so made it easy for me to find my tent too!

    - The people i camped near were all friendly and for someone who has anxiety and went alone that was a relief lol

    - Really liked the cinema tent when it wasn’t having difficulties on the wednesday/thursday as just a place to chill and be in the shade.

    - the food was really good and all servers were friendly

    - the reaction and appreciation from the crowd and performers: notably Raye, Lewis Capaldi, The Big Moon

  4. 1.) Elton John - was just a big party and so much fun (even if slightly packed in the crowd), felt all the guests worked well even if not as big as rumoured

    2. Foos - just them playing an hour of hits was great and when the logo changed from churnups to theirs was a cool moment.

3.) The Hives - always entertaining live

    honourable mentions:

Last Dinner Party  - destined for big things, captivating

The Big Moon - so pleased they got big crowd

  5. Hey

long time lurker, occasional commenter. 👋

Have only been to reading before so it’s my first glastonbury this year , having to do it alone as my brother wasn’t able to get a ticket. So quite anxious but very much looking forward to it. Any tips or comments welcome. ☺️

  6. going alone too, mates aren’t really into gigs and so thought it’s either go alone or not at all so went for it. Been to gigs solo before but not camping at a fest. Anxious but sure everyone will be there for a good time and friendly 🙂

    Second main stage? 😂

Apparently there will be according to Melvins latest NME interview. Only one headliner carried over too
