  1. Hi,

I run a music website and social media pages called The Indie Masterplan,

I only started a few years back, but it has really taken off better then I thought.

My next step, I would like to report from festivals, interview bands and review sets. This would be a first for me though, I am not 100% on how to gain this sort of pass and what my chances would be of obtaining one.

Are they really picky? Would having the website increase my chances?

I also help out promoting new bands in my 'Ones To Watch' section.

Thank you for reading this, any help would be amazing, I don't want to just jump into contacting everyone, I want to make a smart, calculated approach.

  2. Thinking of just getting a Sunday tIcket for Radiohead.

The plan is... Get to Amsterdam Saturday morning, spend the day and night there, then get the train to BKS. what station would be best to head too, with accommodation and a shuttle bus to the festival?

    Cheers.

  3. Ordinary Boys in Leeds on Saturday,

The Enemy/The Twang in Sheffield Dec.

    Noel Gallagher in Nottingham March.

Catfish and the Bottlemen in Sheffield April.

Gonna wait till the line up for Kendal this year, felt a little let down by last years line up. Although it was a great weekend, was a lot of time to kill and hiding from the rain.

Get back from Croatia the Weds before too, so gonna hold fire.

  4. Walk were great too! We only saw them to dodge the rain, they were great and loads of aliens freaky dancing with each other was class to watch.

I would definitely go again,my little lad wants to go again and I think my wife only would if weather was guaranteed, which is impossible to predict when buying tickets. We will miss next year's because we are in Croatia.

  5. Really enjoyed it, but only lasted 2 days, zip broke on our tent and when we got back Saturday night, we were flooded, so Sunday morning we bailed, only wanted to see Simon and Oscar and Miles Kane and the wait in between their sets wasn't worth it. Really like the whole set up and couldn't believe how small the Main Stage is and the Calling Out, for some reason I thought it was alto bigger than that, never once did I feel cramped though and although it is small I still didn't see it all. I saw pictures of the lake on Facebook, but never saw it and couldn't tell you where it is.

Favorite act has to be Augustines, never heard of them till they was added and they blew me away.

Loved how humble Catfish and the Bottlemen were too, not only incredible live, Van was forever saying, "I can not thank you enough." Was nice to see.

  6. Hahaha, Orange me too, pretty sure I will be in the same situation, my wife will be shouting, "Why don't you put that can down, you will have 2 hands then." My little lad will be trying to get in it while it is half up.
