  1. I try to ignore checking the weather but as always I get sucked in and will be watching Countryfile tomorrow.

If they say its gona be scorchio i'll still take wellys and if they say its gona be a monsoon i'll still take factor 30

  2. I've never had a bad Glasto no matter what the weather is like. It's just more difficult in the mud.

As I've always said I'd rather have a muddy Glasto than no Glasto at all.

Just take the right clobber for all eventualities and you'll be sound

  3. My mate cant go so he is looking to sell his ticket. He is not looking to make a profit just to get his money back.

Has anyone sold a ticket before?

Where is the best place to sell? He doesn't want to put it on ebay

I can take it down with me I suppose and try and get rid but don't really wanna do that if I don't have to

  4. Got 2 tickets with Emperors Field and Early entry.

Paid over £330 with fees and postage

    Will take £250

    Anyone interested message me

Pick up in Liverpool or I may be able to meet in the north west as I work all over the NW

  5. 92 five of us, 4 lads one girl hired a car and set off Friday morning. Id never been to a festival before but had been doing all the illegal raves in the north west and beyond.

The week before one of the lads said do you fancy goin to Glasto, I said yeah ill have a bit of that.

So off we go with a 2 man tent for 3 of us, we managed to blag our way on to the car park and then wondered around looking for somewhere to jump over the fence ( it was quite easy back then )

I don't think we seen one band on the Fri night as we met up with some other lads dropped a load of acid and walked round all night looking for this mystical rave, we never found it. Instead I ended up in the harry chrishna tent tripping off my lid. After a while I realised every song had the same words and freaked out thinking they were trying to get into my head and legged it out of the tent.

Next day we left the others to look for raves and went to watch some bands. I still cant believe how we managed to split to see different bands and meet up again without have phones.

That night I had an amazing time (tripping again) watching The Orb then sitting off at the stone circle.

We had to get off on Sun as we had college on the Monday but my life had changed.

I couldn't go in 93 because of exams and was depressed as feck. I said id never miss one again and I didn't until 2 years ago when I was the only one who got a ticket and didn't wanna go by myself. Yet again I was depressed all weekend.

Only 2 of us going this year but im back baby and I cant wait

  6. Ive been exactly the same. Said i was gona have nothing to do with it, no telly no nothing. Im checking here, facebook and twitter all day.

Will prob be glued to the telly all weekend as well

  7. I think that was my last one, went in 93 missed 94 not missed one since. Gettin in seems to get worse every year. Last year i was stuck in traffic for over 7 hours to get in. This year it took me over 4 hours to get from the car park to the gate. We qued to get into a que and then another que and then another que. Had i not given someone a lift i think i would have turned round and gone home. Maybe people getting there for the match had something to do with this but i used to be easier to bunk in than it was with a ticket this year.

I love the place but maybe its time to retire and try some smaller ones
