Phrased & Confused is delighted to announce its return to Summer Sundae Weekender this year, between 12 and 14 August.
Some of you already know what to expect from P&C - bite sized chunks of the finest spoken word and songwriting talent you’ll hear this side of, well, anywhere, this festival season. Top notch, copper bottomed, guaranteed to stop you in your tracks, pure quality words and music.
After two years in the Village area, P&C this year will be working its magic across the festival site, taking custody of the Cabaret tent for a few hours each day, as well as turning its attention to the new BandStand Stage. Look out too for a brand new P&C Library tent in the Garden area, where you’ll be able to indulge in all manner of chilled out loveliness. Also on the cards, another first - Summer Sundae’s first ever Poet In residence – plus the usual faves some of you will remember – the bizarrely popular and strangely titled poetry fridge magnet competition and the daily P&C podcasts.
Maintaining its commitment to supporting emerging talent, P&C will once again be commissioning four new pieces of work, all exploring the theme of protest. This year’s commissioned artists are...
