  1. Anyone think Franz Ferdinand might play this? They've been confirmed for the Barcelona primevera, but not the Portugal one (like The Cure) so maybe it means they already have a something in Portugal. Nothing solid just a guess :)

Also does anyone have any idea of where the cheapest flights would be? Lots of them seem pretty extortionate :(

  2. My idiot has to be a U2 fan at the front of the Pyramid Stage

On the friday we got right to the front of the stage after B.B King, for Biffy and the guy stood next to me was stood there looking dreary as hell. He literally did not move for the whole of Biffy or Morrissey, instead just stood there being miserable. By the time changeover started for U2 people started pushing in the front meaning i was moved left slightly, which meant the guy got moved (and his flag conveniently used to save his space). To which he then started having a go at me for moving his precious flag telling us that he'd "been there since 9:30 in the morning". It turns out that he was only there for U2 and didn't care about anyone else he saw (even slagging off Muse last year, who he obviously didn't know, calling them "the Muse")

Anyway, not sure much and idiot, just a damp squib, if you wanna see a band go to one of there shows, not spend 200 quid on a festival ticket when so many missed out. Some people are such miserable sods

  3. Hi Guys (first post!)

I have to say that Pulp, were incredible, their performance is what cemented in my mind that Glasto is the best festival in the world (it was my first), i was so disappointed to not see their name on the line up, but they were really special. It's like getting a comedy show to go with great music, Jarvis was hilarious (i loved him giving out chocolate bars to everyone, and i even caught the last frisbee (it's signed)) as well as an entertaining frontman, it was almost like he was mates with the whole audience. They also had a brilliant setlist, full of so many classics, common people was the loudest singalong of the weekend.

Sorry for the lengthy first post guys, but i just wanted to get across how great Pulp were, definitely act of the weekend (they totally showed up Coldplay who just seemed so ordinary)
