The phone chargers in vip do we take our plug in charger or usb? & is just a bog standard padlock for the lockers. Thanks.

Ellie Goulding on at 7.45 according to rockness twitter... shes meant to be first on main stage as well. Example on at 11 I seen also.

What time do we get in about it on Thursday? I was all for heading up mid afternoon bit I hear its maybe evening until it opens?!

Think I might be the only one enjoying the fact its smaller! Im used to T so maybe im just looking forward to change but I also think each act will be more intimate. Cannot wait for above and beyond, and ben howard in that tent. Does anyone have a rough idea how many tickets were sold this year to last year?

Really hope the new armadillo matches up to afterburner from previous years. Personally haven't experienced it myself but seems like a huge part of the festival would hate to miss out on it.

Does anyone have any information regarding the view playing TITP roadshow today? Where and when? Do you need tickets or anything?

Personally quite happy with day splits, only concern would be jake bugg and chase and status clashing.

Travelling up for the first time, cannot wait! Does seem quiet though, don't know if it's because I'm so far away and most people from my area are going to T. Hopefully it gets busier as we are getting closer.
Anything to look forward to especially? Any tips?

I dont mind dancy stuff to be honest. Seems to be a huge element at this festival and I want to be part of it, another reason for me trying to find out who everyone recommends.

As posted before this is my first time at rockness and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any acts to see.
At T there are a lot more mainstream acts that i would go and see (eg. Stereophonics, calvin harris) but rockness its not as clear cut for myself. Heard a lot of people raving about the line up however so any recommendations on acts not to miss would be great.

I can answer all of the questions asked above with one simple tip... Go to the tent that offers free condoms and make your way back to your tent, keeping yourself to yourself and avoiding strangers. Have a posh w*nk. Sorted.

Thanks very much. Is it only saturday that has entertainment afterwards then? Assuming its dance music also? Loving the thought of not walking much! Not really enjoying the line up so far but seems like there is a lt on offer besides the artists.

First time going to rockness, normally go to T but wanted a change. Was hoping someone could answer a few questions for me.
When do bands start during the day? And when do they finish?
Is there anything on after the headling acts? How long is the walk from campsite to arena?
Anything I should know please say.
