  2. i believe see have already slipped up, they have got an american company to start printing the tickets, they have printed Glastonberry on the first batch apparently. See aren't the best company ever, but on the other hand im sure its a logistical nightmare.

  3. Last year at glastonbury, im in the salsa tent in the dance village, it must be 4 in the morning, pretty drunk by this time, me and a few mates are getting some tuition off a couple of women, 10 or 15 minutes later, were getting the basics down pretty good. The one woman instructing me is a very attractive older woman, id say mid 40's. She asks if i know what to do next, to which i reply "take you back to my tent and have some fun". of course she slapped me and asked me to leave, made us laugh anyway.

  4. Ill be doing merchandise for a band for a month before on a UK tour, get back on the friday before, a quick clothes wash and move house, then to Chedzoy for 3 days on sunday, straight in wednesday morning. Good times.

At the minute it seems i have got to the stage where i get a few bottles of cider in and put my tent up in my room, have a few smokes and sleep in there.

Also i have started writing lists of what to take.

  5. haha priceless, we had a few scousers next to us one year, there hilarious, also being from sheffield, they struggled with our accents as much as we did theirs.

On the tent front, there is only one way to go, 2 pillows, a 3 man pop up tent and a double blow up bed, it fills the tent perfectly, no gaps down the edge or nothing. True passion pad (only for the first night mind!)

  6. Great first post!!

    Just a couple of stories,

First one from Leeds festival a few years back, a close friend of mine, Lilly, she gets into the centre of leeds, to get on a coach to the festival, lugs all her stuff on the coach sign posted 'FESTIVAL'. Sure enough, an our or so later, she rings me, crying her eyes out, stood at creamfields, Liverpool. Gutted!

Also, Glastonbury, 2005 i think it was, saturday night, few too many mushrooms, headed up to the stone circle, only to be approached by Norman Cook dressed in a patchwork leotard, and a sparkly red wig, trying to sell us space cakes.

Last year we camped just behinf the salsa tent in the dance village, as the early hours came, having more than a few too many, we all went for a dance, this one night there was an instructor, showing me a few moves, this lady was a very attractive, older lady, id say mid to late 40's, she was tip top. 5 minutes go past, starting to get the hang of things, she askes me if i know what to do next, to which i reply 'take you back to my tent and have some fun' Sure enough, a firm slap and abit of abuse follows. Normally in quite a quiet lad, nice and polite, but the mood and spirit of the festival got the better of me,

  7. Ah rate good, ive been a fan for a few years, never got chance to see her. Were planning on heading over to rock werchter after glastonbury anyways, road trip stylee, good times.

  8. no drama,

for me its just the thing i need, about 11 -12 ish, not been up long, feeling a little ropey, cant face a full on feast, and need something really tasty to accompany my first can.

Oh and another favorite has to be falafels in a pitta with loads of salad and humus. Good hot weather food.

    Man i cant wait!!

  9. Pulp isnt going to happen im afraid, i got abit friendly with a good friend of Jarvis' recently and shes asked him many a time. I would love to see it happen though.

  10. i agree tugger2k, the food does vary quite alot, in both value and quality, but there are some real diamonds in there, im a fan of the "curry goat" but my all time favorite for glastonbury has to be the paella, no cheep may i add, 7 or 8 quid i think, but a must for every day im there.

    only 129 days!!!
