The ones I've seen are kind of felt? God knows what there called tho :/ you could try just searching eBay??
Started a new topic in the hope that it'd get more attention. Does anyone know what the hats worn by the people in the photo below are called or know what they are made from? I had a similar one for years which I became rather attached to but have recently lost it. Any help or information would be appreciated.

My only dislike is... So much to see and do, so little time and that fear I'm missing out on something! Oh and going home it should defo be longer, even though I probably wouldn't survive longer hahaha

There's a group of 5 of us going but that tent is for 3 of us lol we've not put the pods in and were not taking them, trying to cut down the weight haha
Niiiiiiiiiiice. I love my big tent but there's only 2 of us going to Reading so we'll just bring a wee one. It was a revelation the day we put it up for the first time and realised you could stand up properly inside

I missed the 40th anniversary As I was pregnant, but attended last year (2011) and left my 7 month old son with daddy! I missed him loads but made the end of the weekend more bare able couldn't wait to get home! It's good to have your own time, and good for the baby to get used to you not being there 24/7. We all need a break

Hey, were off to Reading this year (2012) weve never been before and was just wondering if any kind reading regulars could help?
We will be parking up in the White car park, and want to know how long the walk is into the arena from the white camping?
Also what are peoples thoughts on the brown, purple and orange campsites? as i seem to be getting that the white is used as a family camping spot? Im going to have a break from my kids, so dont really want to be surrounded by other peoples

Trouble with that solution is that you will probably be wasted and they will be buzzing with adrenaline and alert (and no doubt have an accomplice with them outside) and they are likely to grab the bit of wood and cave your head in. Just sleep with what you are happy to lose and keep the rest in the lockups and then you can sleep in peace without risking injury. Sounds like a wimp's solution but I'm sure CCcheese would agree having no doubt seen a few have-a-go heroes in the morgue. Just a couple of weeks ago someone did a similar thing (in a small town in Italy) and the group of teenagers simply took the stick and caved the man's head in (dead).

Can i just add a little Health & Safety advice, after witnessing a tent fire camping with my kids....
Please be careful about using the tent peg to lock the zip from the inside and also barracading yourselves in....
You need to ensure should there be a problem you can get out!!!
And honestly if you are a target, they will get in thru the zip or not!
Might i suggest a big lump of wood to beat them with???
Defo use the lock ups yeh i know take a bit of your time to get to and get/leave your stuff but defo worth it in my opinion!
Stay Safe peeps x

In the words of the presenters...'The all important forecast for the week ahead'...will be around 8.50pm.
Never before has a day dragged so much! The thundery showers forecast for Wednesday on the BBC weather website for Glastonbury arent very funny currently.

No offence but there is already this thread /index.php?showtopic=163364&st=0&p=3632222&fromsearch=1&#entry3632222">here so don't be a lazy & use the search function at the top or just have a quick look through the posts. It's f**king annoying getting the same old thread over & over again.
Taken from the other thread:
I don't know why people ask... where should I camp?
I thought it would be as simple as seeing where you would be spending most of your time watching acts & camp near there or camp where your mates are?
Or if you're a lazy c**t which ever gate you walk in.
