[Blue route from north-west.]

Hi! I'm after a bit of advice.

We're driving down to the festival on Wednesday from Liverpool and need to head to the Tangerine Fields parking via blue route. (We're coming down with my mum, who wanted a bit of comfort for her first time - we're not puching the boat out ourselves!)

Does anyone have thoughts on the best way for us to come, the most obvious route is M5 to Bristol then the A37 south to the site, but I wonder if traversing Bristol will be more trouble than it's worth. Am I right or does anyone have any better suggestions? I suppose we could take the proper route (A39/A361) and then skirt around the north of the site.

Any ideas?

Not a luxury as such - but I always insist on going upmarket with the tequila we take. My friends reckon it all tastes the same out of a plastic bottle but I'll always insist we shell out a little bit more, even if I take the hit.

We've taken advantage of Tesco's two spirits for £22 offer. Turns out that buying ten bottles of gin at once is enough for HSBC to flag it up as a potentially dodgy transaction!

Our list, for ten, is the aforementioned gin (30 bottles of G&T), six bottles of tequila, and five cases of tinnies (hopefully Red Stripe or Oranjeboom)- would take more beer but no one is driving this year. It's a list carefully honed over the years, always feel sheepish having to bring anything home! Got to leave a little bit of space for a cold pint or a lovely cider too!

I can't remember the last time I had a conversation that wasn't about Glastonbury - or at least a conversation that I didn't WISH was about Glastonbury.
