  1. Hey,

I'm thinking of doing that trek. I'm coming from Cov and my advice would be don't go down the M5 and then the A39, A361, last two years we've queued 12 & 9 hours basically nose to tail all the way from the M5. We arrived slightly later at about 10am though. We were moving so slowly in 2009 I had enough time to get out of the car buy cans, crisps and go to the loo in one pub we passed and still we hadn't moved. Once we finally got to the pedestrian gates we didn't have to queue to get in though.

This year we're going to follow the instructions in the fine guide from the Midlands, which is M40, A34, A303 which brings you out in the east car parks. If we're feeling lazy on the day we might try cutting through the back roads into Glastonbury and then along the A361.

  2. Depends on the lie of the land and weather conditions a bit, but generally for around a 20 mile radius around the site. You could pick us up in south Bristol last year, so you might be able to get us around Bristol on the M5 perhaps. Tune to 87.7fm and wait til we crackle out of the static!

  4. It has to be Bernard Butler in the acoustic tent (can't remember what year).

He was just about to start when the electric went off. Instead of leaving, he came to the front, sat on the barrier and took requests. Everyone was stood singing with beaming smiles on their faces.

I embarrassed myself at one point during one song when I got the timely wrong. He just grinned at me.

  5. Wow this looks awesome. Can't wait to go here especially as Craig Charles will be playing there. Anyone got any more info on this area? Does it get really busy? Is it hard to find? It wasn't there the last time I was there (2002).

  6. I had that message and rang DX to ask what was happening and they gave me a delivery date of June 10th. Then last night I had an e-mail saying it was going to be delivered today. I was going to be out but luckily a neighbour was at home so I stuck a note on my door saying please deliver to my neighbour. I left my photo driving licence with neighbour as ID proof and they delivered at 5.30pm and didn't even ask to check ID.

So I'm now a very happy bunny.

  7. When the message says Ticket in Stock to be despatched shortly - does this mean its already on route or is there another message I need to wait for to know when to start being in or calling DX/See to find out day of delivery? Every car I hear now anywhere near my drive I go and check to see if anything van shaped is pulling up it. So silly I know.

  8. Well from nothing, to this

Tickets have been sent to our secure courier on 25 May 2011. They will typically deliver your order within one week of receiving it.

Hopefully should get them by the end of next week :)
