    Hi.

    On another site there is a post for a young girl called Renata, who should have been attending her very first Glastonbury.  It is a request to do an act of kindness in her name, and pass it on.  

    We have a spare east CV ticket which we are willing to pass on for free in her memory. Can't guarantee being there when you arrive so it is at your own risk. 

    Can post by guarnteee next day delivery tomorrow so you will receive on Wednesday.

     

     

     

  7. What level of security would you accept?

    Following awful events in Manchester I know everyone is in shock.

    My knee-jerk reaction is that I can not take the kids to Glastonbury this year - do I have a right to take a gamble with their lives? Clearly that is a decision that only I can make but my question is what level of security would you accept?

    We already have to queue for hours to get through the ticket checking process and there are a few bag checks but not many. Would you be willing to wait longer so that every bag can be checked/ scanned?

    and - would that be enough anyway - I am sure a device could be put together from a variety of components all carried to the festival by different people.

    What can realistically be done to avoid such terrible events?

     

  11. Spare East Campervan Ticket

    Hi

    Due to internet crashing last week and being on hold to seetickets with no luck for over an hour each day, we have a spare east campervan ticket.

    I seem to recall that the campervan tickets have names on and the holder must be there but I am not sure. In any event I doubt I will be able to be there as you enter the site as the other ticket we have is in the name of my 13 year old son and he cant drive my van!!! 

    Any ideas?

    I had the same problem with my son's photo. It was perfect according to the guidelines but was rejected. I emailed the see ticket photo query (address is on the registration page) and they responded really quickly and were really helpful. They couldn't understand why the photo was rejected but they approved it and we have a registration number!!

    Any volunteers ?

    I will volunteer my husband after he came home late last night and nearly burned the house down by putting pizza in the oven and then passing out on the sofa. Them again- the weather gods may not want him!!!!

    Thank you again for all the replies and I hope that they help others too. Luckily for us we managed to get a ticket today in the resale so panic over!!!!!!

    Ok. We are trying in the secret resales for a ticket for the one person in our group who didn't get a ticket. Thing is- she is 14. If we don't get a ticket we need to think of other options. If she turns up once we have got in (dropped off by a friend) how likely is she to get in as a kid? Hopefully just a rhetorical question!!!!
