Sorry if this has already been answered... does anyone know what the platform is right in front of the Pyramid? Too close for the sound board I'd have thought.

I stumbled on it once and went in for a pint. I had my lad with me (who was about 11 at the time). There was a film crew sniffing around outside and I think folks were nervous about it (drugs I assume). A guy came over to me and asked if I was with the BBC. I got the feeling they didn't believe me when I said no and it felt like I was being watched the whole time I was in there. Necked my beer in 10 minutes and left. This was in the middle of the day and nothing much was happening to be honest - it's probably rocking at night but it's not on my list for 2015.

I proposed to my fiance at Glastonbury this year.
We met at the festival in 2010 and have been back every year since (except 2012 obviously) and it's really special for both of us because of how we met. Anyway, for valentine's day this year I booked us a B&B in Pilton (run by one of the Eavis family - complete coincidence) and we walked over to the farm. I asked in the office if it was OK to walk around the site and they said it was fine. Anyway, I took us to the exact spot we met (easy to find as it was by a little crossroads) and got down on one knee. Muddy as hell but worth it coz she said yes!
Good luck KC - hope it goes well for ya! -

I met him last year in the leftfield tent... he told me he was looking for Billy (Bragg I assumed)... I said "erm.. he was up there a minute ago" and pointed to the stage.. he seemed satisfied with that and went!
Very friendly Geezer though and he let me have a picture with him and my son.

1 Caribbean stall in the Dance village
1 Burger stall near the John Peel stage (you pay a bit more but the burgers are well above average for a burger stall)
1 Good Thai Dins in the West Holts field to the left of the Brothers bar
2 PieMinister in the West Holts field near the Brothers bar
1 Lulu's Cafe at the bottom of Michael's Mead (great for breakfast)
1 No Bones Jones (market)
2 Leons (west holts)
6 Children's World (carbaret)
6 Veggies (burger van in green futures field)
2 Flaming Cactus - Mexican Wraps(market) +1
5 Common Ground Cafe Open 24 hours (near Acoustic Tent)
2 Caribbean Stall (West Holts left of Pieminister & Brothers Bar) +1
2 Fresh Fruit Stall (Greenfields) +1
2 Yeo Valley Path going to the left of the Pyramid stage (excellent value on the frozen yoghurt)
3 The growler - not sure what the stall is called, but opposite the Other stage (hell yea!)
5 Vegi pizza place at the top of glebeland (Best pizza's ever)
1 Te a Tost (little caravan in the circus field that does toast and marmite) +1
1 Buddha Cafe (near Greenpeace, you sit on cushions & all the food is veggie) +1

Yeah, I hadn't thought of the possibility of moving it but it makes sense... it's right in the way where it is!
Very exciting build on the Pyramid this year... can't wait to see what happens in the next couple of days. I'm hoping for twin sound / light platforms to open up the middle view from much further down the field... for no other reason than a love of symmetry and change!
