So has anyone had any success with a charge back scheme or direct with My Hab re. getting a refund?
We've just found out they charged us for three tents and not the two we ordered!
-
At first I was a bit shocked when I heard about the whole Myhab withdrawal.
But now it has sunk in I have got serious admiration for Michael Eavis and Glasto for stepping in like this.
In the unlikely scenario we get a refund from Myhab we'll be donating to a Glasto charity. In fact even if we don't get a refund I think we'll make some form of contribution.
It's pretty cool that in such a money obsessed time we still see amazing altruism like this.
As with previous posts if we have any joy with getting some money back we'll post it on this forum.

Coach tickets just arrived!!!!!!!!
-
Wooo hoooo!
My see ticket tracker has changed to the 'Tickets have been despatched from our offices to the address provided ......' message!
I'm happy
Check yours too........
-
Bump that!
I just noticed the seat allocation too on my See tracker page.
Starting to seem more real now / less likely that See were just toying with me after the whole ordeal of getting tickets!

I've spoken to See and they've said my tickets haven't been dispatched yet and that I can expect them up to 48 hours before the festival (good job I'm flying to England 24 hours before the festival then..........).
One thing I noticed on my confirmation email, and I know it's a bit of a no brainer, is that you need ID with you PLUS the coach ticket to collect your festival ticket when you are on the coach.
I'll be taking ID anyway, but just in case you don't have it on your list of stuff to take.

Hi everyone
I know lots of people have got their tickets, but has anyone who ordered a coach ticket with a festival ticket got their coach ticket yet?
I've seen a few posts by those who bought coach tickets asking this but so far not seen any positive response.
Thanks for your help in advance...........

I bought my tickets in the April resale and they are coach tickets.
So far no sign of them.
The status on See cutomer services said 'Tickets are in stock and will be despatched shortly to the address provided' (it's been like this for a couple of weeks).
Perhaps coach tickets are going out last?
Anyone with a coach ticket got their actual coach ticket yet......?
I'll worry when it's a week until the festival starts........!

I have a coach ticket and my See ticket status has been updated in the last day to say that tickets are in stock and will be sent out shortly...........

Some great tips here.
I think I'll be taking some of those 100ml bottles you can buy for cosmetics etc. and will put my sun tan lotion in them each day.
Can't be assed taking the full bottle, and even if it's cloudy I will burn if I don't have the stuff with me.

Just a general point about this type of 'customer service'.
A friend of mine used to work for one of the UK's huge banks around the time when the whole unfair overdraft/general charges thing happened a few years ago, when thousands of customers were looking for refunds.
The staff were basically told to point blank refuse a refund the first time a customer complained. They were also told to refuse the second time.
It was only when someone bothered to continue to complain and contacted them a third time that they'd look into the issue and generally pay up.
The point being most people give up after the first no, and big companies are very aware of this and use it to filter out a lot of complaints.
I'd find out the facts, and if your friend has a case, read some of Hunter S Thompson's complaint letters for inspiration, and get onto See!

Hi everyone
Now that the the tickets are booked I'm getting into serious countdown mode . I've been thinking about what to take/to leave etc. and I reckon that everyone must have at least one unusual tip or piece of advice for going to festivals for Glastonbury virgins liek myself.
So would anyone like to share their favourite Glastonbury tip?

Hi everyone
This is my first post. Thanks for all the tips etc. that have been posted about here on how to beat See's ticketing system (I say beat cos it felt like a battle)!
This will be my first Glastonbury - I got tickets yesterday - it's starting sink in now. Wooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I have to say my heart goes out to everyone who didn't get one or who got through to booking only for the system to stop working.
I actually entered my details about 7 times (for 3 tickets) before I came up with a combination that would let me book.
what's the procedure for losing your ticket the day before you leave?

I'm really bad for lurking on this forum and not posting but this is a disaster!
I can't imagine the panic so I thought any suggestions on finding the ticket may help.
Aside from calling See tickets I think the best advice is to get a fresh pair of eyes (and hands) to search for the ticket in his room/house/car etc. An upgrade on this is to ask someone's mum. They have other worldly powers when it comes to finding lost things (that's only half tongue in cheek too.....).
Failing that, these are some areas where I would have thought it's a good idea to leave a ticket then forget about it:
Coffee/tea jar
The freezer
Inside my passport
Car glove box
Inside my wellies as I would only be using them for one wonderful week a year
In an unused wallet
Inside a book
In the rucksack I planned on taking with me
And finally where I did leave the ticket, my desk at work.
Good luck.
