Does anyone know what time all the music stops then? Im talking club Malibu, neon coconut etc.
The 'after parties' basically.

Y Not virgin here!
Where's the best place for camping then? We're a group of 5 mid twenties who like a drink and a laugh but don't want to be around absolute idiots. Im thinking Kashmir camping might be okay?
What time does stuff go on til at Gold City etc.?

Any chance of The Rifles being on this stage?

couldn't agree more, i didn't think the second album could be anywhere near the first but it was brilliant. there's a load of b-sides and acoustic tracks on the big wide web out there if you haven't heard them already!
they had something ridiculous like 900 plays on my last fm before the second album even came out...

"Brilliant"
Heathen Chemistry.
"Brilliant"
Really?

they've announced a tour and have supposedly self-confirmed, so it's certainly possible. having been on the radar for 6 years or so they're certainly due a performance!

Last year in Red camp at Leeds there was the bloke who did something genius but I'm not sure how he managed it. Basically he had a small one-man pop up tent but had cut 5 holes in the bottom of it, two for his legs, two for his arms and one for his face. He was laying down in the tent so his face was literally in the grass and it looked like a normal tent and just blended it. Then every now and again he'd just jump up and start chasing people
It scared the shit out of em too!

Deftones is confirmed to perform at Reading and Leeds in the UK, and Rock In Summer in Warsaw. See our 'Events' tab for ticketing information.
8/16/11: Rock In Summer Festival, Warsaw, Poland (on-sale 4/1)
8/26/11: Reading Festival, Reading, UK (on-sale now)
8/27/11: Leeds Festival, Leeds, UK (on-sale now)
These dates match the 'leaked line up'. I'm taking it as the truth now, even though it comes out in a minute anyway.

I went to Tesco last year but luckily we had cars, it was heaven to go and get loads of snacks and use some decent toilets! The queue was like 15 minutes long at Tesco for the toilets though!
There's also a subway, greggs and a ladbrokes right next door! A footlong and a steak bake has never tasted so good if you take the trip down.
-
Where would the streets fit in on that line-up btw? I'm guessing NME Friday or lower down the Main on Saturday?
-
My mate brought our weed in last year, about £60 worth. He had it wrapped up in the middle of his bag and got it searched, they didn't find it though thank god.
One of the stewards actually said 'If you get the weed past us then you deserve it, have a nice joint!'
Also round the campsite we were just freely smoking weed and nobody said anything, you could clearly smell it as people were asking if we were dealing. We always asked our neighbours if they minded us smoking it though, if they did we'd have moved away a little bit. Just don't be a dick with it and you'll be fine, enjoy yourself!
-
I'd also be pretty happy with that line-up. I'm not a fan of Muse so Friday works out very nice for me.
Friday:
Feeder/Two Door Cinema Club
Magnetic Man
Crystal Castles
Mumford and sons
Saturday:
MGMT
Vampire Weekend
Pulp
The Strokes
Sunday:
Get smashed and maybe go and see Greenday.

I camped in Orange last time, behind the toilets (not as bad as it sounds!)
I was like a 2/3 minute walk from Picadilly Party and there was a DJ set about 30 seconds away too so it was quite lively but so easy to sleep after about 2am too.
I'd probably want to go into red next time though as the walk to the arena becomes very tedious and you get to the point where you can't be arsed, I'd hate to be in Green or Brown.

Thanks mate. We're also coming Thursday.
We want somewhere close ish to the arena, somewhere we can have a laugh with our neighbours, play our music and have a laugh but with no absolute idiots.
Which site would you recommend?
