After the first year of turning up with no tent or drink
and the 2nd year taking 2L worth of spirits and forgetting to take mixer plus losing my phone and wallet I'll be taking a shitload this year just incase haha! 2 crates of coors, 2L worth of spirits yet to be decided on and stuff to shot (maybe stiffys or something for some drinking games)

Cracking 1st announcement. Got something for everybody. Massive Scottish band in Biffy. Electro giants Justice and Deadmau5. Mumford are class. Ed Sheeran got to be one of the most sought after acts for most festivals after the year he's had. Wretch 32, Dj Fresh, Beardyman, Etienne de Crecy etc etc. Covers all the bases plus many more acts to be announced! Hopefully still have the afterburner and that back aswell. Its looking good

Exactly! Plenty more to be announced and a cracking start, if true, to sell tickets for those looking for the big names. Not sure if Jim's said otherwise but hopefully the afterburner etc are still there. Canny beat a wee jive at the afterburner!

Didny bother coming on here after the announcement last year. Just pages and pages of people slating Nutini (Wasn't too chuffed about him headlining either but the guys got talent)

Understand the potential spoilers may not be everybodys cup of tea but theres no doubting there's some class acts in there. Ed Sheeran is an immensely talented singer songwriter and has blasted his way onto the charts this year. Justice are just class. Biffy Clyro are a cracking Scottish band and know how to get a crowd going. Deadmau5 is amazing live. His sets don't disapoint. Thats just the 4 main ones. Plenty of other bands and electronic acts there aswell that if it's true i'll definately be going to see.
Just seems like alot of you hate on anybody that's ever had a song charted and been successful (in terms of the charts and being "mainstream" which is a daft fucking word banded about) which is fair enough but Jim's got to sell tickets to tens of thousands of people and these acts will sell tickets and in my opinion are great bookings.
Thats no a rant by the way, just liked the look of the spoiler if it's real

Westlife/Take That are two massive bands in the world, sell millions of records. Wouldn't want them at a festival though haha
. Arcade Fire just dont really strike me as a good festival band despite them being a good band generally. I'd love to go see them at a gig, even 1 or 2 below at a festival, but not headlining

Not going to lie, i'd be pretty gutted if I had either/both Arcade Fire and Florence headlining. Florence would be decent 1 or 2 under the headliner on any day but she'd be another Paolo Nutini (A few hits and good songs but not really headliner material). Arcade Fire are the same. I like their music but be it Friday/Saturday/Sunday, is this really the kind of music you want played headlining?

I know the past 2 years BBC Alba has shown decent highlights of the weekend and was just wondering if anyone had heard of any highlights being shown of the festival? Enjoy recovering at home trying to spot myself in the crowd![:curtsey:](https://cdn.efestivals.co.uk/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_curtsey.gif)
