Not sure what to expect today. Slowdive + Ride are both touring so i'm hopeful we see at least one of those.
-
Reading these posts are getting me far too excited.
Biffy Clyro? Kasabian? A Tribe Called Quest? Prodigy? If we saw any of these it'll make my week. If we see TWO of these WELL!

"More additions to follow shortly." Hmmmmmmmmm.

Hahaha +1

I'm hopeful we do see a couple of Alternative rock acts announced today. Like some have said in this topic, imo there seems to be a lack of alt-rock bands compared to poppy acts on the undercard.
If we see either Biffy/Kasabian/Foals i'd be over the moon, but not holding my breath!

Was expecting something a little more to be honest. Nothing here that really grabs me.

I'm more than likely going on my own on the coach from Manchester and potentially meeting up with friends there (if they can make it). It's my first time going, any tips? Done NOS/BBK/Beni before as well as a few over here.
Booked into The Hive for camping. Is it a friendly festival? Slightly concerned about being there alone, has anyone else done it alone?
Myself and a few others are also heading there from Manchester! While this is my first RW, I did Pukkelpop a couple of years ago. If there's anything about the people of Belgium you instantly recognise, it's that they're some of the friendliest people you will find! You're more then welcome to come and have a drink with us!

Surely the Pinkpop line up confirms that Biffy Clyro are certain then?

there have been enough of them! We need alternative acts or at least moderately alternative.... I'd love Slaves, Sleaford Mods, Pixies, QOTSA.....
The line up started off awesome but every week it gets a little more diluted in my opinion...
> Implying QOTSA,Slaves and Pixies aren't mainstream...

Radiohead has the attitude and voice to request that they close a day, no way there's a dance act behind them (not even Oscar & The Wolf). On my clashfinder I have KoL (20:15-21:45) - AF (22:30-00:00) - The CS (1:00-2:00)
I may be wrong, but if I remember correctly I believe Moderat came on after Radiohead at last years Primavera Sound...

JAMC/Ride Sold out.

Arghhhhh trying for JAMC + Ride but this isn't looking good... Glasto all over again by the looks of it.

Am I the only one who wonders why The Flaming Lips aren't headliners?..
I don't even think they sold out The Manchester Academy recently...
