As mentioned above, when you've struggled across the fields with all your stuff, finally pitched up your tent in your sleeping area for the next few days, unfold your chair and take a moment to realise what your in for the next few days, nothing beats it!
Make pals with your neighbours as well, offer them a bacon butty in the morning or help set up tents. Lads, its in your favour
haha. but seriously, festivals are slowly moving away from the happy atmopshere (nothing beats glastonbury for this). doesnt take much and Enjoy yoursens!! I'll be the one wearing flip flops in the monsoon..

After 5 Global Gatherings and a Creamfields, this'll be my 1st time at V and the closer its getting, the more excited I am
Saw Faithless at Global in 07 and again last month, their latest video's just been on during the ads in between Big Bro and it's just not helped to calm me down ! lol
Only going for the Sat which is a bummer but better that than not at all eh

VIP parking is in the north car park opposite to the pickup n drop off point, tis the last carpark on the A5,entry is by the gatehouse,drive for 50 yards and you'll find the carpark on your right. you'll need to display your vip parking pass in yer windscreen.There's no charge for vip parking !

There has only been a E Fest camp meet up for the last 2 year's, the first meet (2007) was supposed to be aranged not on a camp site but at the dodgems on the Friday night before the indie disco, it did not work out well and only a few people met I believe.
The reason everyone choose Orange was red gets filled up too quickly and Orange is close enough to the Arena for other people to drop by and say Hi to everyone on their way to the Arena if they camp with friends elsewhere.
I camped on Gold for a few years and personally really cant stomach that walk back to camp at the end of a long day drinking, I was sooo drunk in 2006 that It took me a life time to try to walk back ha ha but I know people who prefer that site though so give it a go

Glad you noticed, I can totally realte this. We were talking about this around the campsite. So many idiots seemed to be there with a total lack of respect. Our experiences were obviosly not any where near as bad as yours but there were just so many people that wuld barge into you and not say excuse me. Totally out of order.
