  1. Okay, first stupid question from me! Planning on paying extras for shower, what is the difference between club class and club Class & Miss Polly other than £5. Dont really know what the Miss Polly is. Also when booking tickets do you chose camping area you want? Really want to camp in the shire.

  2. Been to a few festivals but never to Kendal Calling. Planning on getting tickets tomorrow, but confused by tickets and want to make sure that everyone in group ends up in same field.  What should we go for? Its a family affair and while we like to have a laugh we also like a bit of sleep :-) will tickets for emperors fields be on sale tomorrow or are they usually gone with earlier released tickets?  If available what is the benefit of paying extra for them compared to a toilet/shower band? Any other advive/info we should be aware of would be good. Thanks

  3. First Wickerman & what an experience! Beautiful weekend, loved the beer garden & pimms :-D Disappointed with lack of water facilities within main arena, seems to be the one thing that T in the Park does so much better than Wickerman. You shouldn't have to spend £2 for water to prevent dehydration. Ended up being extremely ill on Saturday (due to dehydration because of medical condition & not alcohol consumption) so missed a lot of bands I was desperate to see including KT, Flutes & Vigo Thieves :-(

Could have done without the guy in blue boiler suit being directly outside our tent all Thursday night, but thankfully for all in that area he didn't return on the Friday night or Saturday night! The wax ear plugs were my saving grace on Friday & Saturday night, but nothing could block out boiler suit man on the Thursday night through to Fiday morning. don't know why he felt the need to announce to campsite he was awake all night! Anyone within a 2 mile radius was more than aware of that fact! Next year we will be making point of getting up early enough for our group to camp together in quiet area though ;-)

Highlights for me had to be Chic, Public Service Broadcasting, Holy Esque & Admiral Fallow.

A brilliant weekend & so looking forward to Belladrum this week

  4. Please can anyone give me advice regarding car parking tickets for Belladrum. Read that I should be able to print ticket off through skiddle website but not finding link. Also where is it best to camp, intending on going up about 2:00pm on Thursday with my sister & our 2 kids, age 11 & 15 years.

We have bought tickets for "posh loos" and understand these are situated in general camping, how far is family camping area from there? Are there showers available, couldn't see seperate tickets for them as at the wickerman festival.

Any advice we should keep in mind for our first time at this festival would be much appreciated. Is there anywhere I can get map of the layout.

    Thank you

    Deep Valley

    Lewis Watson

Nothing else jumping out at me

  6. Thank you everyone for info regarding toilets, kind of basing my ideas on T in park at the moment. Are there "posh" toilets in campsite and main area.

Found food at healthy T to be good, what is it like at Wickerman? I'll be okay if Stoats are there for my porridge ;-) & thinking about taking gas stove.

If it is dry we will go Thursday night, what times does it all kick off at on Friday/Saturday? When do stage times get released, do stage times run alongside each other. Trying to work out if Vigo Thieves & the Enemy are likely to clash.

    Thank you once again

  7. Hi,

First time ever at the wickerman this year for me & my family. I normally do T in the Park each year but decided it was time to expand our festival experiences this year & include the teenage kids. Absolutely clueless about this festival so any information/tips would be grateful.

What should I expect with camping/toilet facilities? Would NEVER consider camping at T in the Park. Hoping because it is family orientated festival things will be okay at Wickerman.

Is it worth while paying extra for toilet/shower bands? Any information/tips to make this a success would be greatly appreciated.
