Anyone think they could fit in anywhere even though i am a fan I have never known how popular they are so wouldn't have a clue where they would play if they did. Can anyone help?

My understanding is that the main frame of the stage will not be altered, the alterations will be the download signs being changed on either side of the stage and a curtain being dropped that will reveal the rest of the AC/DC stage set up. The bands that are playing during the day will have very little stage room and will be right at the front of the stage as all the work will be going on towards the back of the stage.
The setup will be attached extra to the main structure so although AC/DC are brining there own stage show they are not bringing there own stage.

just wondering whats going to happen if acdc's stage isn't taken down in time or gets half taken down and something like the weather postpones any further works :S

That's a bit strange when the other 2 headliners have big ads along with most of their supports and one 2nd stage headliner don't you think?

just picture the situation your dying inside to see your favourite band for the first time ever! you run to the point of almost throwing up to get there just in time you get there only just sustaining your calapsed lung and.... swoosh an enourmous flag swings across your vision of the stage and will do for the rest of the set and you become filled with anger, all because some dumbass wants to know where he is in the footage on tv, the simple thing is to move but there EVERYWHERE!! thank f**k there gone.

I think that your use of homophobic language in the title of this thread was well past what is acceptable.

I dont know if they have split up but know they werent doing as well on recent releases. The offsprings popularity also seems to decrease with every offering they make. I agree paramore have picked up fans but to me this is evidence of fans moving from some of the older pop/punk bands to newer ones rather than a sudden boom in the genre.

i cant imagine not being at the very least intrigued by Arcade Fire, but then i thought the same about Radiohead last year. i love both, so my opinion is pretty blinkered

im not being ungrateful and im happy as f**k that there playing but why arnt they headlining i cant believe arcade fire are above them (no offense towards them)...what do you think?

to be honest Arcade fire are good but are they really that good to headline? Axels is litterally nothing without the original GnR line, chinese democracy flopped like a flaccid dick and in my opinion the libertines "rumour" is the only thing to jizz over (unless your die hard fans of the other bands) last year had some class headliners but will this years line up top it? i think not but people have different opinions, what do you think??
