I might head along like, if I remember. Be cool to put faces to screen names
Also, If I can be arsed to take them, I'll be the spotty c**t with a pen and paper asking randomers to draw funny pictures

I was tempted to go watch Newcastle play Accrington, but I'm getting my Gran to give me text updates instead. Same for the Wolves game on the Saturday (though that's not on TV)

Sorry, I explained that really badly. What I meant was are they the kind of band I'd be able to enjoy despite not knowing many songs? A lot has been made of them so I'd like to see what the fuss is about
-
What are their live sets like? I only really know 2 songs so I only want to turn up if it'll be worthwhile
-
BBBB at AS. I'd say that's cause for celebration
-
Is it bad that I haven't even had the email saying it's been despatched? If they sent it tomorrow and allowed 2 working days, that would mean arrival on Tuesday before I set off on Wednesday. Bloody hell, that'll be a panic

There's also a gap on the FR stage after General Fiasco at Leeds. Secret set?
-
Weezer get longer than I expected! Get iiiin

As much as I would hate it, The Libertines/Pendulum could be bumped up to headliners and then FR could bring in a smaller band to save money? I hope to God this is not true.

Arcade Fire - Rococo/Wake Up
Frank Turner - Photosynthesis
Band Of Skulls - Patterns
Blink-182 - all of it
Weezer - " " "
Mumford & Sons - The Cave
Biffy Clyro - God & Satan

Anyone know approximate stage times/order of artists? (if info could be given for BBC Introducing could be given too, that would be great)

In response to the Sum 41 thing, there's a similar situation with Sublime With Rome, who're playing Hamburg (I think) on the 31st, but no other European dates.

I got straight in from the drop off point at about midday last year. I was shocked at the lack of queues for cars or pedestrians..

Isn't the extra dance stage slot a L'Amour La Morgue DJ set?
-
Personally, I think Emarosa are shite, but taking the high ground and patronising someone into believing their music taste is "wrong" is bollocks imo. Let the lad listen to the music he wants to listen to.

Emile & The Donkeys to headline for me.
Guitar/Vocals - Emile Heskey
Bass/Vocals - Titus Bramble
Drums - Robert Huth

That's referring to last year.

As things are going at the moment, it doesn't look like I'm gunna see them with the Arcade Fire clash, any idea on whether they're planning UK tours? I REALLY want to see them.

I was thinking as much, but there's also a gap on the lockup stage on that day, so room to stick another band in? Mind, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bad Religion were given an extended set...

Have these forums turned all nooby over the past year or am I missing something....
I come to this forum every year to discuss festival. Normally have to create a new user name as after festy there is a 6/7 month gap before I log on again and forget my password/username combo
Untill this year, people would get flamed to pieces for saying what you have. They dont just slot bands in to the lineup. This isnt download or sonisphere where they anounce the bands, then the days they play at a later date. The bands will play the order they are. They never insert a band in the middle unless there is a "special guest" slot. Thats it. Bands only ever get added onto the bottem of the lineup. Unless someone pulls out.
They have never once done this in the 5 years I have been going. If they have I apologise and Im wrong, but im 99% sure they never have. You can hope all you wish but it wont change anything. Motioncity are opening the stage, blink gets 2 hours. Im not happy about it, I just dont want people getting thier hopes up

does this ever happen?
