  1. Well I'm weighing it all up at the moment. I know from parking there in previous years that the odd space does free up but that's a bit of a risk I suppose. I think a park and ride would be pretty harmless. Thanks for the advice all, much appreciated.

  2. Evening everyone,

Quick question. Can I drive in and out of the car park each day on the site? For a number of reasons we've booked into a hotel instead of camping which isn't ideal but needs must and a that. So I'm just double checking if I can drive in and out of the festival or whether I'd need to go to a bloody Park and Ride every day.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Evening all. Quick query.

I've paid off mine and the Mrs tickets. We have different addresses but I did it all under my name (lead booker) so will they both come to my address? Bit confused on this one. Thanks in advance.

  4. Well played everyone who got them!

QUICK QUESTION: Should everyone get a confirmation email or just the one person who booked for the group of people?

    Thanks in advance.

  6. Hey everyone.

So I've been to a selection of Leeds', T's, V's and Glastonbury's since 2007. This year however, what with there being no Glastonbury, T's lineup being a shocker and V completely falling off the rails in the past couple of years (still holding out hope for Leeds) I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of new festivals I should try. And it doesn't have to JUST be the UK, it can be anywhere in Europe.

Please do share your experiences at other festivals and please throw some recommendations my way.

    Much appreciated.

  7. The delivery link asks for a tracking number of reference number. When I rang I used the reference number from the SEE website and they used that to tell me they had my tickets. As I don't have a tracking number, I've used that same reference number and asked for them to be delivered tomorrow.

Using that reference number will be okay, won't it?

I just need some reassurance. Thanks :)

  8. Walk unafraid - R.E.M - Pyramid stage 1999

I had been waiting over a decade for a chance to see the band that were the soundtrack of my teenage years, halfway through the set they played a little known album track from their current album with such energy, power and feeling that it transformed the song to a classic for me. The musical highlight of my life so far.

  9. It's my first Glasto this year and I have a good idea who I'm seeing.

I'm just curious as to whether people's favourite songs they've seen at Glastonbury are by the big headliners or well known acts in general, or relatively unknown bands a lot lower down the line up.

So, your favourite song you've ever witnessed at Glastonbury, the stage it was on and why it was so good...

  10. So 98 people voted on the other poll and I've taken the top two from each list into the final four.

Quick bit of trivia; Oasis, Stereophonics, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins and Kings of Leon got absolutely no votes.

Arcade Fire and Green Day won their individual lists but now that there isn't all the other bands to choose from, the result might differ.

Pretty simple; one vote each. I know a lot of people explained why they chose the two bands they chose in the last poll, but now that it's only one, could you say how you narrowed it down to just one?

And I know some people never voted for these four originally but if you could still place a vote for who think was the best out of these four, it would be appreciated.

    Enjoy...

Original Poll that got us here; /index.php?showtopic=160149">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=160149

(Original poll results might differ. At the time this was made, the above info was right)

  11. Basically, I've devised a poll to decide who the ultimate headliner is of the 21st century...so far.

The headliners are split into two lists of '00-'05 and 06'-'10, so choose one from each. Please do let us know what you loved about the two performances you've chosen as well.

Obviously not everyone has seen all these headliners, but I'm more than certain there's videos floating about on youtube that'll give you a good impression of what they were like, so feel free to make a decision based on video evidence.

It'd be interesting to hear what some of you veterans have to say about earlier performances as well.

I'll give this a week or two then start a new poll with the winner from each list up against one another to decide who the best headliner of the 21st century has been so far.

The bands are in chronological, but I'm sure you guessed that already.

You'll also notice that Guns and Roses are missing from 2002, but that's because they only played Leeds. I think to be classed the headliners, they must have played both festivals.

Remember, it's not a case of you thinking they're the best band in a general sense, it's a case of how good you think the performance was.

    Anyway, enjoy!
