I'm really surprised Jess Glynne / Craig David / Rudimental are higher on the bill than Clean Bandit... I'd have thought they're pretty much all on the same level... A higher level than Stormzy too.

I think the lineup is one big fuck up, I feel it's them testing how cheap and nasty then can make it while still getting the full amount of ticket sales

To be honest I actually think it's two decent headliners, at least it's not Kasabian and KOL on rotation again.

First bit I disagree with as do many others, 2nd bit 100% agree. Of all the "New" headliners they could of picked they picked one which is probably a co-headliner at best at any other major festival and one which provided much uproar when he headlined Glasto. I think the thing that really annoys me about this release is the fact Pete Tong is so high and the fact they seem to have gone cheap by providing very few bands and putting a co-headliner in a headliner slot. Are solo artists, cheaper or something?

  3. I have a ticket for this year already and I persuaded all my university friends to dip their toes in the water and come this year and then this heap of poop was announced. May just warn them off and sell mine.

  4. I'm in utter disgust and hoping that tomorrow this was all a bit of a sham, if it turns out to be fake the original defrauder owes me a Sunday back.

I've just zoomed in on the picture and Gorgon City and The Wombats don't align with Clean Bandit on the same line. James Arthur and Madness also aren't lined correctly... Is that just me?

I see it too, the only reason I'm thinking this is real is because all these artists/bands have V festival free in their tour dates. JAY Z and Pink rumoured to have albums out this year too. This is either a really well thought our fake or the actual lineup.

  6. Had to sign up after being a follower of this site for years just to express my disappointment if that is the lineup, I too expect Pink to be on the lineup she should NEVER be that high up though with no albums released for a fair while. I always thought Ed Sheeran would not play both V and Glastonbury but never expected this pile of turd of a lineup.

  7. To be fair, I don't even care if I like the headline act or not, I just want someone different, I've attended V festival since 2005, Reading Festival a number of times and Isle of Wight 5 times or so, Although I love these bands I'm sick of Snow Patrol, The Killers, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Prodidgy, Muse, Radiohead etc etc, I'd just like something different.

Something that has been bugging me for a while although I'm not a massive fan of either is how I've not seen U2 or Coldplay live yet, if the rumours are true and it's Justin Timberlake & Coldplay I'd be happy with that because I've not seen them before. I'd however be hoping for Kodaline, Chvrches & The Naked & Famous more than anything.

  8. In a dream world the lineup would be Sat- Bloc party/Radiohead Sunday - The Strokes/White Stripes

I know for a fact bloc party are on a haiatus though so thats out the window

I Think the actual lineup will consist of this

    Main stage Random day/time

    Dizzee Rascal

    Pendulum

    Strokes

    Kasabian

    Cheryl Cole

    Stereophonics

Im expecting to see 2 other big named bands in here.
