Worcester Music Festival 2011


Now in it's fourth year The Worcester Music Festival returns in 2011 and the dates are Friday 19th until Sunday 21st August, and is held all over the City of Worcester. The festival happens in almost 30 venues with more than 200 live performances, many of which are completely free of charge to raise money for various charities.

Line-up

Friday: V2A, The Daydream Club, Redbook, Sarah Oreggio, Black Cat Bone, The Crooked Empire, Babble, Andy John Bradford, The Oohz, and Marina del Ray.
Saturday: Smileymic, Colin Baggs, Graham Collins, East West Infusion, Carly, Kevin Jenkins, Jane Booth, Dryftwood, Calm Like a Riot, Juey, Sam Holmes, Penny Racer's Last Journey, Hitchhiker, Skewwhiff, Andy John Bradford, This Wicked Tongue, Marie-Claire Berreen, Naseby Crossing, Malthouse Passage, Das Sexy Clap, Hades the Cat, Naked Remedy, The Chris Whiting Band, Ronin.
Sunday: Mark Wilkinson, Jack Blackman, Deadmoney Duo, Foxtail Soup, Dean Elliott, The Roving Crows, Pbata, Crank, Eligh Toadd, Becky Rose, Hagglebag, Loungetree, Poetry In Numbers, Flicking The Bean, Flatworld, Gandhi's Walrus, Autumn Lily, Vincent and the Onepotts, Plane Crasher, Stuntdog, Farewell Vera.

Fund raiser

This is in the main a free event but aims to raise money for a selection of local charities by means of collection buckets, donations, CD and merchandise sales etc.
