First held in 1995 Woodstock Festival Poland is Poland's biggest FREE festival the largest open air event in Europe with a capacity of around 500,000+ each day. Its organizer, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, created the event in order to thank the Polish youth for their involvement in the Grand Finale fundraiser held every winter.
The festival takes place in Kostrzyn on the Oder, in the Lubusz region.
