The 13th Annual Wittenham Free Charity Music Festival or Wittfest is held in the grounds of the Plough Inn, Long Wittenham, near Didcot, Oxfordshire and takes place from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2012. The event is a FREE music festival raising money for local charities.
There will be a wide range of musical genres on offer and plenty of opportunity to join in with all of the themed sessions throughout the festival weekend.
Satuday: Lepton Morris, Folk With Lucy, Folk plus Shackleton, The Brian Jeffels Band, Sounds Of The Sixties With Nick, The Grams, Ballads With Barbara and Pete, Jody Wyatt, Bluebird, Age Concern Singing Group, The Right Hooks, Troubshort And Turnipseed, The Ramblin' Boys, Gin Swing, Essa, Baker's Brew, Yvette Barwood and Alex Beckhelling, Easy Tiger, Slink.
Satuday: Sunday Songs With Cathy, Sarah Knowles, Tunes With Geoff and Linda, Short Drag Roger, Cry Havoc!/Armaleggon, Singing Rounds With Sue, Oxford Drum Troupe and Ashnah, Shanties with Short Drag Roger, Cats Chorus, Guitars Galore With Pete Joshua, Geoff and Linda Plus Jim, Lynne Butler, Musikissimo, C U Tuesday.
As well as music there is expected to be a children's play area, food and drink available, stalls, tombola, tea tent, etc.

Charity
Last year, the festival raised £2,600. The total was divided equally between local music therapy charities, Soundabout and The Guideposts Trust.For more information, see the Wittfest website.
