VW Whitenoise Festival 2011


VW Whitenoise Festival attracts 5,000 visitors to Norfolk. Welcoming owners and appreciators of all things Volkswagen the festival has an eclectic mix of live music in a big top, and two music tents and happens from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August returning again to it's new home at Fritton Lake Country Park, in Norfolk.

The festival also features tradestalls, auto-jumble, displays, kids' entertainment, Wife Racing (win the weight of your wife/partner in beer by carrying your partner in a race) and vehicle competition / show.

Line-up

Friday: Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), The Dulcet Tones, Sergeant Virgo.
Saturday: Ghosts of Men, We Can't Dance, Sargasso Trio, Vegas Fame Index, Chuck Cash and the Fenland Cowboys.
Sunday: Lewis Floyd Henry, Big Red Boat, Llewlyn.

Tickets

Adult full weekend tickets (with camping) are priced at £25, with a child weekend pass priced at £2.50, under 3s can attend free. An advance weekend pass - Saturday (includes camping) and entry to all of Fritton Lake (Sat and Sun) is priced at £20 for adults, and £3.50 for children. Day passes are also available. Other attractions

Expect live graffiti and loads for families including free rowing boat hire, an adventure play area, soft play area, kids tent with free craft making and childrens entertainment.

Don't worry if you don't have a VW attendees can book a Yurt in the Whitenoise Yurt Village or take a tent, there's also the Adnams hotel on site, an opportunity for Pimms on the lawn or a trip down the river. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control and are cleaned up after. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
