ValeFest 2015

ValeFest, the student run charitable, ethical and eco friendly music and arts festival is back for its 11th year on Saturday 6th June 2015.

Organised by volunteer students at the University of Birmingham and held at The Vale.

Line-up

Expect 14 hours of music across 4 stages spanning all genres including Will & The People, Charlie & The Funk Factory, Friendly Fire, JamTidy, Only Shadows, Alex Tainsford, Adam Barnes, Bella Diem, Native State, Ghouls, Dark Stares, The Jacques, Kamikaze Girls, Jet Pack, New Bays, Swerve, Gravity Grave, Shallows, Bear Witness, Lokane, DJ Beyond, Phat Sam, Little Chopper, Bobby Hanzo, Night Movements, Dub Soc, Versatyl & Pilgrim, Lady Sanity, Bear, Coredlia Gartside, The ~Days, Emily Marples, He Is A Pegauses, Isaac Osobukola, Little Dynamite, PerKelt, Sam Jackson, Uptone Girls, and Wintermen, plus Comedy and Workshops tent.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Charity

All proceeds from the event are donated to Child Poverty Action Group, and Medic Malawi. Over the years ValeFest has raised over £175,000 for a wide array of causes.
