The Urban Green Fair 2009

The Urban Green Fair takes place on Sunday 20th September 2009 at Brockwell Park, Lambeth, London from 11am until 7pm.

The event is a FREE independent green fair for London, powered by solar and wind energy.

The Urban Green Fair is an annual family event, with films, talks, workshops, kids' activities, stalls, sunshine and unusual bicycles. Over 10,000 people are expected to attend the fair and the latest confirmed speaker is the political activist, writer and comedian, Mark Thomas.

With no bars or big stages the emphasis is on education and communication. A chance to share ideas, meet familiar faces and make new friends. With little government action on peak oil and climate change there is plenty to discuss and lots we can do as individuals.

For more information, see the The Urban Green Fair website.
