The Upbeat Festival 2011

Mr Kyp's presents The Upbeat Festival takes place from bank holiday Saturday 27th until Monday 29th August in Upton Country Park, Upton, Poole, in Dorset.

Line-up

Headlining will be Imelda May on Sunday, supporting are Toploader. Saturday's line-up offers tribute acts including Kastoff Kinks (featuring several members of the original 60s rock pioneers), T-Rextasy, and No Jacket Required. Also confirmed to appear over the weekend are Sandi Thom, Jon Allen, ZZ Tops, Fleetwood Bac, Reggae Magic, REM UK, Ben Montague, Deborah Bonham, and Rockin' The Joint. Monday afternoon/evening will feature Souled Out, Rat Race, Sergeant Pepper's Only Dartboard Band and Rollin' Stoned.

Tickets

Early bird weekend (Sat/Sun/Mon) tickets are priced at £35, with two day (Sat/Sun) tickets the same price. Day tickets are also available, a Saturday early bird tay ticket is priced at £15, and a Sunday early bird day ticket £25. (Once the allocation of Early Birds have sold out single day tickets will rise by £10). Monday tickets will be on sale at a later date. To secure a spot at Mondays festivities please purchase a weekend ticket. Youth tickets (ages 14-17) are priced at £10 per day, or £25 for the weekend. Under 14's go free but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
