Tribfest Ireland - CANCELLED 2013

Tribfest Ireland has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:

"Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and Westmeath County Council delaying the decision to progress with Tribfest Ireland 2013, we have had to cancel this year's festival.

We do have plans in place for 2014 and hope to bring the festival across to Ireland next year."

Tribfest comes to Ireland and takes place from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th July 2013, and will feature an assortment of tribute acts over the weekend at Belvedere House, Mullingar Co. Westmeath, Ireland.

Line-up

Friday: The Springsteens, The Official Tribute Blues Brothers Show.

Saturday: Kings Ov Leon, The Cormitments, UK Foo Fighters, The Spirit Levellers, The Lizberries (Cranberries).

Sunday: Joshua Tree, Green Date, Antarctic Monkeys, The Thin Lizzy Experience, The Smiths Ltd, ABBA Revival.

Over the weekend sixteen top tribute acts will be playing at the festival as well as folk and acoustic acts from Ireland and also local unsigned bands. More acts are yet to be announced.

Tickets

Tribfest will be running a discounted ticket offer until the end of February 2013. An adult weekend ticket will cost 60 euros, a saving of 35 euros, youth weekend 50 euros, a 25 euros saving and a child weekend ticket is 30 euros, a 20 euros saving. All under 5s tickets are free.

As well as the bands there will be a Silent Disco, which is a marquee where you are dancing to music through wireless headphones. The festival will also feature a dance marquee with DJ's showcasing their sets throughout the weekend. Expect also a Kidzone area, plus more to be announced.
