The Traquair Fair 2011


The family-friendly Traquair Fair is held in the grounds of Scotland's oldest inhabited home Traquair House, Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders, and takes place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August 2011 from 11am until 6pm.

Line-up

A theme of Fire has been chosen for this year's Fair and amongst the first acts to be confirmed are The Blazin' Fiddles, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo, The New Rope String Band, and The Explosive Dholis.

Tickets

A weekend ticket including car parking, 3 Nights camping and all entertainment in the Fair is priced at £46 for adults, £35 for a child aged aged 5-14 years, a family ticket (2 adults and 3 children, aged 5-14 with upto 2 tents) is priced at £98. Children under 5 go free.

Day tickets are priced at £19 for adults, £13 for concessions, a family ticket (2 adults and 3 children, aged 5-14) is priced at £46. Children under 5 go free. To buy tickets, click here.

The Traquair Fair attracts over 5,000 visitors each year with its mix of visual arts, outdoor theatre, arts and crafts workshops, children's entertainment, traditional and world music, a vibrant crafts market and food and drink from around the world. For 2011, the organizers have added a new family Glamp Site in the grounds comprising ten luxury yurt tents to provide a more glamorous, family-friendly alternative to the attraction's traditional camping facilities.
