The Totnes Festival takes place around the picturesque town of Totnes in South Devon, from 7th - 16th September. The Festivals packed schedule includes: music, the arts, performance, crafts, literature, fashion, film, food, ecology and alternative lifestyles. Venues throughout Totnes will play host to local, national and international artists, with plenty of outdoor events and attractions on offer to entertain the whole family.
Highlights include: Stuart Davis (singer/songwriter from Minneapolis) performing at the Ariel Centre; the Dave Holdsworth Septet (performing the South African township music of Abdullah Ibrahim); Mozart Quartets with flautist, Judith Hall; Totnesia featuring the South Hams Boogie Band, the Mighty Redeemers and the Great Bloke Disco; folk band, Jiggerypipery; a regional Street Performers and Buskers Competition being judged by Michael Eavis; and a torchlit procession through the town ending in a firework display from the Castle.
