The Shires Show 2010


The Shires is predominantly a bike custom show, which this year offers three days of live music on to celebrate their 10th Anniversary from Thursday 10th until Sunday 12th June 2010. The Show site is located on the A41 at Ternhill (2 miles from Market Drayton), opposite New Cott services in Shropshire.

Line-up

The headline acts will be Levellers, Dr Feelgood & Anubis. As usual the Custom Bike show will take place on Saturday from 12 PM with all the usual prizes.
Main stage
Thursday: Adust, Anubis.
Friday: Icon, The Swillers, The Jalapenos, Leatherat, Dr Feelgood.
Saturday: Mother Humbucker, Colour Me Blind, Stevie, Kill The Machine, Battle Of Band Winners, The Black Apples, Hollywood Tease, BFG, Levellers.

Stage 2
Friday: Battle of the bands with Soundstorm, Broken city Skyline, Spearmint 6.
Saturday: Battle of the bands with Junker, Livid, The Drone Rebels, AITCH Guest DJ.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £30 (£35 on the gate), a car parking ticket is £10 per car, a campervan ticket is priced at £20, and £25 for a car with caravan.

Day tickets can only be bought on the main gate, on the day. A Thursday day ticket is priced at £10, a Friday day ticket is priced at £15, and a Saturday ticket is £20. Once again entry for kids under 12, and OAPs is free. No Dogs Allowed. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Backpatch clubs by prior arrangement only.

Camping

This year there will be a bigger camping field and a bigger car parking area.

Charities

The Show hopes to make as much money as possible for local charities, promote custom biking and to provide a great weekends entertainment for show goers. This year the festival will have a larger camping field and also bigger car parking area.
