Started in 2009 when the owners of Inshriach House, Ord Ban Restaurant and Backwoods Productions decided to have a party. The Insider is an annual event which happens in an area of outstanding natural beauty at Inshriach House, a holiday home in the Cairngorms National Park. The festival offers a line-up of eclectic acts, the best food in the valley and some right tasty beverages.
The festival announced it was taking a year out in 2014, and hasn't come out to play since.
