Teign Shanty Festival 2019

Teign Shanty Festival takes place in Teignmouth and Shaldon in Devon, on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2019. It will be held at various venues in the town, in conjunction with local food festival Taste of the Teign.

Teignmouth and Shaldon will play host to anything up to 20 shanty groups performing in 12 venues and providing over 70 hours of "free to attend" shanty singing. The towns will be filled with music, singing and infused with a great community spirit.

There will be a passenger ferry across the estuary to link the Shaldon venue to Teignmouth.
